Descriptions. One or Two high-quality PhD students in civil engineering is being sought to contribute to a research program which seeks to create innovative sensing, data mining, visualization, and robotic techniques to augment construction operations, enhance civil infrastructure management, and improve community smartness and resilience. Expected start date is Spring 2020 and the applicant needs to complete the application online before application deadline. Full financial support will be provided with a competitive stipend. Requirements. Students with a master degree in engineering are preferred. A strong mathematical and computational background is beneficial. A willingness to learn new things, challenge yourself, and operate in a team environment is critical. Requirements on GPA and tests are as follows: GPA≥3.3, TOEFL≥95, and GRE≥315.
