Multiple PhD positions on digital VLSI architecture/circuits design for 2020 fall are available in Prof. Bo Yuan's group in Rutgers University-New Brunswick. Prof. Bo Yuan is currently the assistant professor in Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. His research areas include machine learning, VLSI architecture/circuits design and signal processing. He has numerous publications in top computer hardware, machine learning and signal processing conferences and journals, including ISCA/MICRO/ASPLOS/ICML/AAAI/TSP/TCAS1/TVLSI. Required background

--- BS/MS degree in CE/EE/CS or related field

--- Solid background on computer architecture, VLSI architecture or digital circuit design

--- Front-end or Back-end ASIC or FPGA design experience

--- Prior project experience on machine learning accelerator, DSP accelerator or other complex digital system accelerator design will be a big plus

--- Prior industry experience or strong ASIC/FPGA experience will be a big plus
