  “One man’s fault is another man’s lesson.” That is a proverb, which means one could learn from the other’s experience. Therefore, when we want to learn about life, it is a good way of listening to the advice of family and friends which they could offer us from their own experience.
   It is a shortcut of learning about life to listen to the advice of family and friends. they are the most important part of our lives. Through the advice, they comfort us in our challenging moments, and provide a mirror for us to learn more about ourselves. Furthermore, the advice could keep us away from making mistakes in our ways of living so that we could become more efficient.
  If we say that the advice from family and friends could accelerate our learning, personal experience is another good way in learning about life.
  As the proverb says:” No pain, no gain.” There is always something we can not learn from others. We have to do it by ourselves. And the more we experience, the more independent and responsible we turn. Through these processes, we could understand the life in our own angle and memorize the experience deeply in our heart.
  Having considered both methods of learning about life, I have come to the conclusion that listening to the advice of family and friends are more beneficial in the modern society. The world nowadays is changing with each passing day. The efficiency is the key point foe individuals’ development. By using the way of listening to the advice from family and friends, we could enlarge our gains with less time and energy.

这个是有关选择城市生活还是乡下生活的^_^
In recent times, with the reason of being tired with the fierce competing, expensive living, traffic noises and so on, many people prefer to share a rural life. Is that a advisable decision? In my opinion, when you settle down a small town, the benefits that you lose will be much more than you receive.

For a start, compared with the rural life, the city’s can offer you more convenient. For instance, there are so many hospitals, shopping centers and recreational places around your community that you can take what you want in a comfortable way. Imaging that, if the old people in your family are attacked by serious diseases abruptly, they can acquire the best treatment in the first time. Even the damage is too harmful to save life, the time which you economize in the salvage may create the miracle of taking back their lives.

With the exception of furnishing convenient, another evident advantage which belongs to the city life is that you can obtain the latest information sooner the rural people. It’s no doubt that with the fast speed of developing of our society, information has become most pivotal to our lives. For example, as bargainers of the stock market, the only thing they should do is collecting the news that are abreast of the times. Because the useful information means the extra profit, the high rate of return and the wealth which you really want.

Last but not least, in the city ,you will get the best education with which you can change your living condition as well as earn a better level of life than that of rural people.

Taking into account all the advantages which are brought by the city life, we can safely conclude that people who live in the city can gain a considerable mount of benefits. In this case, why not spend your whole life in the city?

Some people argue as if it is a general truth that parents or other adult relatives should make important decisions for their older teenage children. But to be frank, I cannot agree with them for the following reasons.

The main reason is that if the children always defer to the adult’s instructions, they will never be independent. Every time when he comes across the difficulties far away his ability to deal with, he will not try to resolve it, otherwise, it is the most possible that he will ask his parents for help. Obviously, as a result, hardly does he get into habit to solve the problems by himself.

I have to mention that, however, lack of enough social experience and knowledge, a teenager is going to analyze the situation superficially; in this case, an advice from a veteran people seems to be essential. With the help of the elder, the teenager can walk on a more flat road.

The advice offered by the adult, on the other hand, may not suitable for the youngsters. Take Chinese students for example, under the heavy study pressure, many young students cannot afford to choose what they really like to learn. When teenagers choose which university to continue further study, elder may use their standards which are not accepted by them. Following the older, they can never enjoy the joy from the study.  

Last but not the least, making the important decisions by oneself is one of the most crucial skills to adjust to the society, as well as, to be an outstanding person.

Above all, considering the disadvantages, the good aspects are far more numerous, so my conclusion is that parents or other adult relatives should not make important decisions for their older teenage children.

Some people say that the best preparation for life is learning to be cooperative.Others take the opposite view and say that learning to
be competitive is the best preparation. Tell which one you agree with
and explain why.



There are different ideas in regard to attitudes one needs to take for his life preparation. In general, there are two schools of thinking. One prefers to take a cooperative attitude while the other goes to the opposite and acclaims for a competitive attitude. When asked for agreements on either of them, I would rather take a neutral view and propose a combination of the two attitudes for life preparation.

Life is a not a single-toned song, which will only stay in one situation. Instead, there can be various scenarios that one has to experience in his life. A safe way to live a better life is to change the way of preparation for life according to the different features of these scenarios. For example, if one is preparing for a field and track match, a competitive preparation may work better since the match is played by competing individuals and there is only one gold medal for one person. In this scenario, a cooperative preparation may not be suitable. If athletes do not compete for champion but work it out though cooperative discussions, the match may hence lose one of its most important features.

However, if the scenario is changed into a team work where individuals make efforts together for certain goals, a cooperative preparation may be higher valued. Imagine a volleyball team on their way to the championship. Although they need to experience many competitions with other teams, cooperation of their own is important. If cooperation does not exist, it will be almost impossible for the team to win any game regardless how competitive each member of the team may be.  

Therefore, although the two thoughts on life preparation can be different, one needs to change it according to the alterations of different scenarios, and combines them at some time. It will be hard to ensure a happy life if one always sticks to either one to prepare for his life.

51. Some people believe that success in life comes from taking risks or chances. Others believe that success results from careful planning. In your opinion, what does success come from? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

According to my opinion success in life is supported by careful planning and inspired by taking risks and chances. We absolutely cannot choose just one of them as the single factor to ensure our future success. For the prudential person sometimes it’s necessary to take a risk to gain more potential chance beneficial to his carefully designed plan. Similarly if the lucky guy, who always has better environment and chances than the others, could consider planning their future more because it would undoubtedly result a more prosperous end.

Most of us believe that we should make detailed plan and realize our dream step by step. We doubt the reality and quality of the success of the people who gain it totally by risks and chances. Although there are suddenly more such negative cases in our fast speed developing society, many academicians and authorities oppugn this phenomenon and call for more attention on the quality education and wholesome ethos for the healthy further development of our country. But in my view no one can avoid take risks during his struggling for the success even though it might be very seldom. For example recently it’s more popular the parents want to send their children abroad for study or the people who have worked for several years want to continue their study in foreign countries. It’s exact a big risk and combined with the carefully designed plans they made for the same aim—success in the future.

Certainly the detailed plan is more important for the success. No one can do anything real meaningful for the society and the world without persistence and hard work. All this continual and long-lasting efforts should be guided by a farseeing plan to make sure our arduous work rewarding. Without particular and complicated designed plans we cannot touch the outer space of the earth; we cannot construct our houses and so many skyscrapers; we cannot get rid of poverty and low-standard living conditions.

On the whole I believe sometimes we should take risks during the implement of our plan for the success. If we are not ready to take risks we would miss the cherish chance maybe just appear once in our whole lifetime. Consequently there is sure no certain golden rule to success.

我也响应一下，不好意思，我花了两个小时，才写出两篇这么烂的文章，请大家多指教。

Although some people like travelling alone ,I prefer to travel with a compion for several reasons.
First of all, it is safer to travel with a partner .Undoubtedly ,when travelling around some unfamilar places,especially some originanal forests,mountains and the sands etc. I may confront many dangers.However ,generally speaking ,with the help of a parter ,I can at last get them over.For example,once I went to wild forests and got lost,luckily ,my parter recognized the way and led me out.But for him,I would have been trapped at the risk of being eaten by some dangerous animals.That’s the same reason why many explorers travel with other persons.
Besides,it is less lonely to travel accompanied by a friend.Just as a saying goes,good company makes short miles.Along the way ,we can toghther do a lot of things ,such as talking about something interesting,cooking our meals and enjoying the beauty of nature.At the same time ,we can enjoy happiness together.In this way ,I will not feel lonesome at any place even in some deserted places.
In addition , I can learn from my parter.Everyone is at home in a particulat field.During the course of visiting,my partner may teach me a lot what he is good at.I once travelled with a botanist to Mount Tai,and I had knew many plants as well as  much about their traits.Another case is that when I went to the Great Wall with a  photographer ,he taught me how to take clear picture of the things in the distance.
In conclusion ,considering many merits of travelling with a companion ,I have no reason to deny it.


There are many subjects that I missed the chances of studying.However ,the subject of mathematical analysis is the one I need worst .
Mathematical analysis teaches persons to think in a rational way .Unlike other subjects ,it does not simply gives the answers to problems,instead ,it pays more attention to the process and the method of solving a problem.A man who has learned ti can analyze and work out the problems in a logical way. Besides,a man who has studied it can give a clear lecture or talk and well express himself ..If I learn it ,I can know and deal with problems in a logical way.
Moreover ,the subject helps persons to well understand many papers on economics.Undoubtedly ,the subject deals with many useful mathematical methods.And such methods are utilized by some economists when they try to prove their argument are reasonable.For example ,nowadays  almost all the economists  who won the Noble Prize use the math tools,which they learned in the subjet.And with the knowledge of the math tools ,it is not difficult to understand what they are saying. But for me ,I can not fullyl understand what they are arguing for. What a pity that I did not learned the subject.
In a word ,it is the above reasons that make me eager to study mathematical analysis.

Some people prefer to live in a small town. others want to live in a big city. which place would you prefer to live in ?use specific reasons and details to support your answer.

In the modern world, with the pollution problems rising,more and more people living in the city prefer to living in small towns.They long for flesher air,cleaner water,cleaner sky and quieter lives charaterized in the town.Even though there are some minor andvantages to living in a small town, there are far more advantages to living in a big city.As far as I am concerned,I would like to live in a big city.

To begin with ,the paces of both living and working in a city is pretty fast.These acquire metropolitan people to treasur every minute and to work efficiently.The idea of valuing time not only means devoting more to the society,but also is an unique way to make one`s life more valuable.

Moreover,there are a great many entertainment places in a big city,such as zoos,pubs and so on.In the spare time,people in the city can entertain themselves in these places.For example,workers can relax themselves in a pub when they finished laborious work.And the nights in a city is much more active than in a town.

Furermore,there are a lot of facilities in the city to convinient people`s lives. For instances,you can get a meal soon just by making a call,but no need to go outdoors at all. Other facilites,such as supermarkets,hospitals,theaters are much better than those in a small town.

In a word,living in a city is far more efficient than living in a town,and the life in a metropolitan
city is colorful.So,for me,I will choose a big city to live rather than a small town.
