English is a tool
A tool for communication
But nowadays in our country there is a werid werid phenomenon--English seems a tool ,a touchstone that evaluates a student's quality.
This is crazy.We can see various students engaging miscelleous English tests
And if you pass it you are a excellent student not only just in English but also in other fields.
When he graduated he will definitely grab a great job,for his decemt ability in English which might define his gorgous ability in his job.
But he just grab a decent score of some kind of English test
I see lots of graduate students in my university communicating with their foreign professors like suckers!
And they often took out their CET-6 remonstrate to make a show of to me
Which makes them more like suckers.
And also there are some graduate guys acquired extra money for their enrollment because they do not do well in their English,although they do a good job in their majo fields.
English now in China is going into another high level
It totally become a tool of killing,killing the enthusiam of talented students untalented in English.
A senior student ,majoring Chinese classic literature,he must take the English test if he wanna become a graduate student in this field.
It is mad.
But it really happened around us right?
I think English is not that important
It just a foreign language
It just represents your ablitiy to use it for commucating(of course if you have a girl friend of English-speaking country,then you must recite the beautiful and obscure poems
That is it!

English in our country is totally crazy
And I am now crazy...


PS:I come from an university that is so bad in English
Every body in my class considers that I am brilliant cause I had passed CET-6
And I am the only guy who passes such silly test in my class,by the way,because  of  some kind of luck...

A  very  enthusiastic  argument~
We  students  do  have  been  tortured  greatly  by  such  silly  and  endless  examinations...
However,  since  we  cannot  break  the  rules,  we  still  need  them  to  get  through...
Perhaps  after  the  examination,  we  can  get  a  short  moment  rest?

But now the problem is if you did well in some kind of English exam
Then you will be consider own good ability in English
But it seems somehow funny
Doing well in an exam just means that you are a good exam-taker

We can just get through these tough circumstances(maybe just for me)
I have to make some confession that I may be too aggressive and some kind of weird
Sometimes in my dream,just my dream,I think that maybe one day,we can make a change.get back our country and our education into the right normal tract....

Or maybe,that is just a dream
