约的1:30pm，12：45到，1：00进
排了很久的队，4点左右才签上

vo是 中年jf madam
看起来很严肃，其实挺 nice

探亲，商务很多。F-1很少，而且我始终保持微笑，所以她的态度挺好的

me: nice to meet you, madam. this is my card(large yellow card)
vo: nice to meet you ...thank you...(look at my I-20)
vo: so, you go to ...(低头，小声嘀咕)
me: yes, I will pursue a PhD of chemistry in GSU, I got Bachelor Degree of Chemistry in Pku(听说vo都是在北大学的中文，所以自报家门来套近乎)
vo nod, and smile, 不理我，敲电脑，我于是继续说。
me: i will specialize in medicinal and organic chemistry, would you like me to describe it?
vo: wait a minute...敲电脑...ok, please describe it.
me: it is about ... 本来准备了很多专业的东西，可是我本能地感觉到今天好像不用说那么多就能过，所以只说了最关键的两句。
vo: do you have the offer letter?
me: yeah, here it is. and I have the welcome letter, do you need it?
vo: ok
look at the letters, 看到信上写着开学以后有英语考试，就问我：are you preparing for that? me: yes
vo: it must be strict.(smile)
me: yes.(我记得信上说这个考试比托福难的多，但是想到自己托付成绩不好，就没敢多说话，怕提醒她要我GT成绩）
vo: do you have resume?
me: yes, here you are.
vo: thank you. 低头很仔细的看resume. 不能冷场，我觉得她在看我的研究经历，就说
me: this program fits my interest very well, it is about how to use organic chemistry method to develop new cancer drugs. I want to do the research in this field when I come back.
vo抬头:you mean come back to china?
me: yes! cancer in china ...(就说了三句）
vo: ok, wait a minute. 起身拿着简历到后面去了，我一下紧张了，害怕被check（因为开学时间快到了，我等不起）
半分钟后vo 出来了， you can get your visa, 撕条， go to window 1.
me: thank you very much.
拿着小粉条愉快地走开了

总之，现在f-1很少，很好过。
