The appointee will provide support to the Principal Investigators in all aspects of a project entitled “Promoting AI Literacy and Effective Use of AI in Education”. Main duties include: 1) designing and creating teaching and learning resources on AI literacy; 2) developing and integrating AI tools into different courses to enhance teaching and learning; 3) providing direct support to academic and teaching staff in designing and implementing AI-powered teaching methods; 4) collecting and analyzing data about the use of AI in education; and 5) performing administrative work related to the project and any other duties as assigned. The initial appointment will be for a period of around 12 months with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement.
Applicants should have a Doctoral Degree, preferably in computer/electronic engineering, computer science, educational technologies or other related fields. They should have solid working knowledge of AI and educational technologies. Excellent ability to communicate in both English and Chinese is required. They must be attentive to details, highly organized and self-motivated. They must also be able to work independently and meet tight deadlines. Immediate availability is preferred.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include contract-end gratuity, leave, medical and dental benefits.
