Since  British  idea  on  Commonwealth  is  not  good,  why  there're  so  many  nations  choose  to  remain  members  of  Commonwealth?  What  benefits  they  could  enjoy,  and  what  impacts  the  Commonwealth  have  left  to  them?

Oh my~~ This is a so damn hard question.

Politics is always complexed, even if not involves in religions. However, the impact of common religious belief cannot be too emphasized. The same origin of a certain group of individual nations may share a lot in common with not only their ways of thinking but also their attitudes towards foreign affairs, and that's why they want to be together.

In addition, considering the people of each country, a united spirit of power --- the spirit of mind is required to make their citizen under control. This point can be easily found in Chinese history. The emperor always had his power divided into two parts: the material power, such as military, finance; and that of the spirit, like the so-called 'national spirit'. We use the former one as coercisive method, which acts as a guarantee of the latter one, the one controls people's mind and influence and regulate their behavior soft but effectively.

I suggest you read something by Confucious as well as its counterparts by Mo Zi.
