Two new Ph.D. positions (2022-2023)are available for the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University ofMassachusetts Lowell.
ML+FD Ph.D. Position: The research will involve theapplications of fluid dynamics and machine learning. Qualifications:
- a Bachelor's or equivalent degree in engineering (Computer, Mechanical, Biomedical, and Aerospace), applied mathematics, or related fields. Applicants with a master's degree are preferred.
- Previous research experience is highly desirable but not required. Desirable research skills include
- computational or experimental modeling technique in fluid dynamics
- fluid-structure interaction
- programming (C, C++, or Python).
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
