Thereare 3 fully funded PhD and 1 postdoctoral position available in the departmentof Mechanical engineering, University of Colorado Boulder, in the area of biomedicaldevice, acoustics and cell mechanics. GRE is not required. Weconduct highly multidisciplinary research at the frontiers of science, engineering,and biomedicine. Currently our group focuses on the micro/nano technology(Microfluidics and MEMS) for (1) On-chip diagnosis and analysis, (2) Physicalapproach based precise intracellular and subcellular drug delivery forimmunotherapy and gene editing, (3) Cell mechanics. We aim to developinnovative technologies and tools to solve challenging problems in biomedicineand to improve human health. We take it as our responsibility to train futureleaders dedicated to excellence.
