CEIBS Full-time RA Job Opening

CEIBS was the first business school on the Chinese mainland to be accredited by both EQUIS and AACSB. Currently, there are 83 faculty at CEIBS. From 2018 to 2022, a total of nearly 536 cases have been developed and 550 papers have been published, including 120 articles in the core journals of the Financial Times (FT) and 41 articles in A* Publications.

Research staff have played an invaluable role at CEIBS over the years as the school continues to boost its research capabilities. Many later go to pursue PhD programmes at top-tier schools, with about 26 enrolled over the past 2 years.

Location: Shanghai

Report to: CFH Director

Department: Centre for Family Heritage, China Europe International Business School

Work Type: Full-time Research Fellow

Major Responsibilities:

1)   Assist in literature review including writing research notes, searching and summarizing literatures, preparing research related materials (e.g. questionnaires, interview outlines, and other instruments), and organize survey and interviews; data collection in the field and data analysis;

2)   Assist in data collection and data analysis;

3)   Assist in other academic works, such as sorting reference list, and coordinating proof reading, etc.;

4)   Assist in preparing teaching materials (e.g. PPT, in-class assignments, mark sheets and questionnaires);  

5)   Assist in grading (grading of students’ work, compiling feedback report and answer questions);

6)   Other tasks assigned by the professor and Dean’s Office leaders.

Basic Requirements:

1)   PhD degree;

2)   Degree in OB, psychology, cross-cultural management, leadership, family business is preferred;

3)   Excellent data analyzing skill; capability on big data analysis is highly preferred;

4)   Be able to conduct qualitative research (case studies, interviews, content analysis);

5)   Be proficient in WORD and PowerPoint;

6)   Excellent written skill and fluency in oral and written English;

7)   Excellent communication skill and teamwork spirit;

8)   Working experience in business and management is preferred.
