Professor Tse-Hsun (Peter) Chen’s lab has several funded MSc and PhD positions in the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering at Concordia University, Montreal, Canada.

Concordia has a very strong research reputation in Software Engineering. Concordia's Software Engineering group is currently ranked in the top 4 in the world (http://csrankings.org/#/index?soft&world). Professor Chen's prior Ph.D. graduates are now tenure-track assistant professors (e.g., the University of Alberta) or senior researchers at large companies.

Professor Chen’s research area is in Software Engineering, with a focus on using machine learning and large language models to improve software quality. Recent papers are published in top conferences such as ICSE and FSE (CCF rank A); and top journals such as TSE and EMSE (CCF rank A and B). Students with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:

• A degree in CS or related fields
