Multiple funded MSc andPhD positions areavailable in the Smart Infrastructure TEchnologies (SITE) Research Group (https://www.mei-lab.com/) at the Universityof Alberta, Canada, starting in May and September 2025.

Research Directions:

·        AI-assisted Building Design

·        Sensors and Robotics for Construction

Qualificationsof the Applicant:

·        Background or research experience in civil, computer, orelectronic engineering or related fields.

·        Passion for scientific research and an interest in exploringunknown problems.

·        Meet the GPA requirements of the institution (Admission Requirements).

·        Meet the English Requirements: TOEFL iBT: A score of 90 or above(with no section below 21) or IELTS: An overall score of 6.5 or above (with nosection below 6), along with strong English writing and communication skills (English Requirements).

·        Strong programming skills (Python/MATLAB).

·        Preference will be given to candidates with experience inMachine Learning/Deep Learning/Computer Vision/Robotics.

·        Preference will be given to candidates with prior researchexperience and publications.
