得奖有时候也不是很重要，还是把essay写好，application做好比较实际，中国本科牛人多得很，奖项一般显不出什麽优势。

请注意9楼说的是“numbers are hardly enough”，如果这个人其他方面做的好的话，肯定可以被录的。就是说各方面都要尽量搞好，而不应该只重视一些方面
