是不是国外学校都没有固定的课本,只要是相关内容的都可以呀?
在国内买了英文课本的话,到那边还要买吗?

prof won't request you to buy textbook. but sometimes you have to. so buy some english textbook will be better, check with other chinese students what books you should bring.

I only tell you my experience.
All the professors tell us what book will be used in the semester before class begins.
Not all the books required by professors are used.
Some professors refer to the books frequently,but others not.
I resold most my textbooks.

I do not think you can find all the books required by professors.
However, you can borrow it in library sometimes if you act in advance and you are lucky.

You know the weight of books. Therefore, even if you need books from China, let your friends in China send them to you through ocean transportation after your arrival in U.S.
