"Anyone can make things bigger and more complex. What requires real effort and courage is to move in the opposite direction---in other words, to make things as simple as possible."

正文：

The speaker claims that what requires peopole's real effort and courage is to make things as simple as possible, though anyone can make things bigger and more complex. I don't concur with the speaker for that point. People are actually making the things go directly the way that will benefit them. So, sometimes to make things bigger and more complex does, too, require people's real effort and courage. It doesn't necessary mean that people will always bother to make their great effort and courage to make things simple.

In nowadays' reality, the competition is fierce. For a corporation to hold a steady stand and  big market-share, it is of paramount importance to buy or incorporate other companies to make itself bigger and stronger with more capital and more competitive power. Because the small companies with less capital are less competitive and not prevailing now, they will be standing at a disavantage situation when competing with the big company with more capital, more employers or more advanced technology. In the same way, for a country to play a more important role in the world, and better guard and protect its citizens, it is no doubt necessary to build a bigger and more powerful army which is controversial though when coming to the peaceful talk that many people in nowadays prefer, and using more sophisticated strategy and complex security system.

On the other hand, small and simple things may sometimes cater to people's interests, because simple and small things are convenient to use. For example, as the technology avances so fast, the cellphone is becoming smaller, and more simple to use. Now we don't have to press the keypad to send short messaege to friends which is really troublesome and time-consuming. We can write anything in the screen just with a finger or electronic pen to compse a message. It's fast and convenient for people to communicate. And the computer goes the same way. Now we can carry our notebooks everywhere. Benefiting from the high-end tecnology, we can also surf the web everywhere wihout cabling up our notebooks.

Our lives now are improving, and becoming more comfortable too. Whether to make things simple or complex all depends on people's interests or mood. Some people may prefer to go with the current and be fashionable, but others may prefer to pursue a simple life. For instance, some girls may prefer polishing their nails with nail polish, however some others may tend to keep their nails short for convenient to do real housework. In the same way, some girls would like to dye their hair, however, some others may consider dying as a ruining to their hair, and kept it somewhat short. So the different interests drive people to make effort and courage to lead different lives: either simplifying lives or complexing them.

It is true that to make things smaller and more simple will require real effort and courage. However, we cannot leave out the fact that to make things bigger and more complex will take people's effort and courage too. We should admit that human beings are intellectual, that they will direct things to take the way that will only do good to them.

So, sometimes to make things bigger and more complex does, too, require people's real effort and courage. 偶觉得这篇算难写的了，楼主好有勇气啊，现在叫偶写恐怕也写不出来，觉得题比较难审。

从开头看就觉得楼主审题有点问题，偶们来探讨一下再说。偶认为题目的意思是说，与复杂相比，追求简单似乎更需要effort and courage，楼主的侧重点在每段后面已经说了。就感觉有点没对。

另外建议楼主写完了贴在Word里面检查一下基本的拼写错误，错误太多的话改起来比较郁闷的……

首先,非常感谢小玩对我的批评和指教.我真的没有想到会错那么多单词.真的郁闷啊，保证下次不会出现这类低级错误了。

我可能在审题方面时间花的不够。

我主要是说，不仅仅使东西变简单需要effort 和 courage, 使东西变复杂也是同样需要effor 和 courage. 因为人们总是使东西往有利于他们的方向转变，或者使他们复杂，或者使他们简单。

第二段,我举例说明公司需要变得更大,更有策略才能有立足之地;以及国家需要有强大的军队,需要有复杂的安全系统,才能保护它的公民等.

第三段讲另一方面,小的简单东西迎合人们的爱好.比如手机简单好用,手提电脑有是如此.

第四段讲, 由于兴趣不同,有的人喜欢简单化他们的生活,有的人喜欢复杂化他们的生活(我觉得赶时髦,花时间打扮是生活复杂的表现)

至于文章的两个语法, 我不尽同意.
"as the technology avances so fast" advances 这里没错,如果真的有错的话，应该是technology 前面的 the了,应该去掉.
"more simple to use" 这里 more simple 不一定要改成 simpler. 就像 common, 你可以说成 "more common" 或者 "commoner"。 同样的例子还有很多。

我也是啊， 很糟糕。 不知道机经出来了没有。那么我们就练习那几篇。（我想确认一下，小玩，是不是每次考试作文题目都会出现在机经上呢？）

这样吧， 我们两随意抽个题目，然后约个时间，一定得赶出来，一起贴出来， 好吗？ 有时候真的要push自己一下。

偶也不是很懂机经，但好象机经只能说这些题目考过或者考的频率比较高，并不一定到时候你就一定能够遇到机经中的题．偶也不明白……

这样吧， 我们两随意抽个题目，然后约个时间，一定得赶出来，一起贴出来， 好吗？ 有时候真的要push自己一下。

支持支持。但偶觉得还是要在一个大类里面选。跨度太大比较麻烦。偶们来好好讨论一下吧，发短消息也行啊~
