It is primarily through formal education that a culture tries to perpetuate the ideas it favors and discredit the ideas it fears.
Formal education, as a main tool to indoctrinate and develop knowledge in today's society, is the most effective way for a culture to perpetuate the ideas it favors and discredit the ideas it fears. And in this way, a culture gets spread and expanded. However, as is the case with some cultures, which are not the mainstream of the society, it seems impossible for them to get the value systems and beliefs that they treasured handed down through formal education, which is controlled by the authority. And what's more, formal education or even informal ones are not the only way to achieve the perpetuation of a culture.

In any civilized nation, it is primarily through formal education that the mainstream culture tries to perpetuate the beliefs it prefers and discredit the ideas it dislike. Education has been developing into an industry through decades, and an industry, is serving for the purpose of the people in charge. So does education. Formal education, established as a tool for the authority or the mainstream culture to broadcast its ideas, is always the most effective and profound way to impact its people. From primary school to middle school, then to high school, every child is well educated of the value systems and beliefs of the mainstream. On the one hand, considering an educated person could be enjoying more rights as a citizen, this is indeed a good way to improve the quality of the whole nation, and thus to benefit the nation as a whole. On the other hand, through formal education, the culture actually perpetuate its own likes and dislikes to all the descendents. And in this way, the former leading culture keeps its lead, and the relatively not-so-prevail culture maybe impaired.

Except for formal education, there are also other ways to get a culture spread. History, literatures, arts, and traditions, various kinds of documents from the past are conveying the value of the culture. We have to admit that in all times, a great part of culture is preserved by traditions, which is mainly perpetuated in daily life. And with the development of technology, there are more alternatives to convey the ideas of the nation and the mainstream culture, such as media, TV program, broadcast, and newspapers. All these acting together implement the task of perpetuating the value of a culture, even to a more wide and profound degree, because they affect not only the pupils in school but also anyone in the society outside the school. At this point formal education seems not to be the only choice.

Furthermore, we should also notice that, to some cultures which are not taking the lead of the modern society, the need for perpetuating its ideas are also needed and urgent, however, as a culture without even any form of education, how can it perpetuate its ideas through education, not to say a formal one? It is not difficult to understand the importance of maintaining a multicultural system in any period or any society. Without differences and comparison, any culture can not prosperous for too long. Allow for different cultures are a clever way to better any culture growing towards a more comprehensive future. Without proper protection of the cultures which are relatively rare, they may quickly get disappear from the world, nations should put more concentration on the preserve of multicultural system, not only perpetuating the its own beliefs.

In conclusion, formal education as an important and the most effective way to convey the ideas of the main stream culture, can not take full responsibility of this profound task. And to any culture, without the existence of any other culture, its development is actually confined and limited. Seek common things while keeps the differences is the best way to perpetuate and develop a culture.

Formal education, as a main tool to indoctrinate and develop knowledge in today's society, is the most effective way for a culture to perpetuate the ideas it favors and discredit the ideas it fears. And in this way, a culture gets spread and expanded. However, as is the case with some cultures, which are not the mainstream of the society, it seems impossible for them to get the value systems and beliefs that they treasured handed down through formal education, which is controlled by the authority.[这个看上去像例证的说。。 And what's more, formal education or even informal ones are not the only way to achieve the perpetuation of a culture.

On the other hand, through formal education, the culture actually perpetuate its own likes and dislikes [啊。。 。。是笔误吧=D] to all the descendents. And in this way, the former leading culture keeps its lead, and the relatively not-so-prevail culture maybe impaired.

Except for formal education[如果我没记错的话 貌似用except就行了, except for 是指“除了+不同质的东西”吧?], there are also other ways to get a culture spread [这里,记得在另一个人的贴上看到别人的评论也说,将原issue简单总结为get a culture spread好像太过简略了 在意思上其实是有出入的].

Furthermore, we should also notice that, to some cultures which are not taking the lead of the modern society, the need for perpetuating its ideas are also needed and urgent, however, as a culture without even any form of education [这个。。。难道连informal education such as family education 也没有么。。。觉得这个例证有点极端了], how can it perpetuate its ideas through education, not to say a formal one? It is not difficult to understand the importance of maintaining a multicultural [这个multicultural? 。。] system in any period or any society. Without differences and comparison, any culture can not prosperous for too long [no culture can …. Allow [Allowing] for different cultures are a clever way to better any culture growing towards a more comprehensive future. Without proper protection of the cultures which are relatively rare, they may quickly get disappear from the world, nations should put more concentration on the preserve of multicultural system, not only perpetuating the its own beliefs.
