157"There is no such thing as purely objective observation. All observation is subjective; it is always guided by the observer's expectations or desires."|

2被观察的事物是客观的,观察不能guided by the observer's expectations or desires

I basically agree with the speaker that the purely objective observation does not exist, however, it does not mean the observation can be guided by the observer's expectations or disires. As for me, what actually instructs people's observation is the their own observational ability.

I admit that all observation is subjective in that observation is a human behaviour, which calls for adding individuals' thinking to what they have seen. People with various social statues, backgrounds, experiences and education may have different opinions when observe the same things. Here is an interesting expriment which can easily explain the point. An expert drew a circle on the wall, then asked differernt individuals to observe. A child thought that the circle was the sun, while a driver consider it as a steering wheel, and a cook believed it was a plate. As an old saying goes, “there are one thousand Hamlets in one thousand eyes”, observation is always subjective.

Although observation is subjective, it still cannot be guided by the observer's expectations or desires. The objects we watch are objective, which cannot be changed with our intentions. Take a football game for example, Manadona, an Argentine football player, once broke the regulation by using his hand to hit the football, while the referee did not see. The similar cases often happen in a football game. But only if one see the video which has shot all the scene, one can clearly see the breaking action, even the player himself, who does not want admit, has to confess to having broken the regulation. Therefore, one cannot guide the observation by one's own expectations.

In fact, human's observation is guided by their ability to observe. On one hand, human's natural ability restrict the observation. A shortsighted person cannot clearly see the views far away, while a farsighted person, on the contrary, can hardly observe the things in a near distance. On the other hand, human's observation is also limited by the tools that they have invented to help observe. With advanced telescope, modern people can observe the sky much more freely and distinctly than ancient people, but we still have many stars which cannot be observed. View from this angle, the observation is always be guided by the observer's natural ability and artificial instruments rather than his/her expectations or desires.

To sum up, due to a behaviour requiring observer's mind to join in, observation is unavoidably subjective, but it does not mean observers could freely decide what they have observed. I concede observation is indeed guided, not by observer's expectations but by the ability of the observer and tools he/she used to observe.

I basically agree with the speaker that the purely objective observation does not exist, however, it does not mean the observation can be guided by the observer's expectations or disires. As for me, what actually instructs people's observation is the their own observational ability.

I admit that all observation is subjective 绝对吧? in that observation is a human behaviour, which calls for adding 去掉 individuals' thinking to what they have seen. People with various social statues, backgrounds, experiences and education may have different opinions when observe observingthe same things. Here is an interesting expriment which can easily explain the point. An expert drew a circle on the wall, then asked differernt individuals to observe. A child thought that the circle was the sun, while a driver consider it as a steering wheel, and a cook believed it was a plate.  (例子很好) As an old saying goes, “there are one thousand Hamlets in one thousand eyes”, 怀疑这句话:我不知道但我会写:there are one thousand Hamlets for one thousand audients observation is always subjective.

(不好,还是举个同样的现象,只有特定的人才发现)On the other hand, human's observation is also limited by the tools that they have invented to help to? observe.

I concede observation is indeed guided, not by observer's expectations but by the ability of the observer and tools he/she used to observe

I basically agree with the speaker that the purely objective observation does not exist, however, it does not mean the observation can be guided by the observer's expectations or disires(desire). As for me, what actually instructs people's observation is the(去掉) their own observational ability.

I admit that all observation is subjective in that observation is a human behaviour, which calls for adding individuals' thinking to what they have seen. People with various social statues, backgrounds, experiences and education may have different opinions when observe the same things. Here is an interesting expriment(experiment) which can easily explain the point. An expert drew a circle on the wall, then asked differernt(后面的拼写错就不帮你该了) individuals to observe.

(这句话放在这里没什么用,要证明的是observation)Take a football game for example, Manadona, an Argentine football player, once broke the regulation by using his hand to hit the football, while the referee did not see.
With advanced telescope, modern people can observe the sky much more freely and distinctly than ancient people, but we still have many stars which cannot be observed. View from this angle, the observation is always be guided by the observer's natural ability and artificial instruments rather than his/her expectations or desires.(很有条理,呵呵)
To sum up, due to a behaviour requiring observer's mind to join in, observation is unavoidably subjective, but it does not mean observers could freely decide what they have observed. I concede observation is indeed guided, not by observer's expectations but by the ability of the observer and tools he/she used to observe.
