102. Schools should ask students to evaluate their teachers. Do you agree or disagree? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Should school ask students to evaluate their teachers? In my opinion, I say “yes” to this question for the following reasons.

To begin with, students are good judgers to evaluate their teachers. In an academic aspect, except weekends, almost every day teachers instill knowledge to students in class, so students know better about their teachers in this respect. For example, students can know whether teachers go to class on time from judging the time. Students can realize whether teachers prepare well for class through the materials sent out to them and the teaching contents. Students also can find out the academic level of their teachers by their explaining the points, deepness of analyzing the questions and comparing them with other teachers. If teachers do well in above aspect, it indicates that they are serious about class and responsible for students. Therefore students have some evaluations in their mind in these ways.

In other aspects, students are also good evaluators. For instance, in the office hour or appointment time, students have opportunity to interact with their teachers individually, in the face-to-face way to talk with each other. Students could ask some questions related with their courses or discussing some points with their teachers. Form the teachers’ reaction to the questions, students know the attitudes of teacher-how teachers are eager to talk with them or help them. Hence, from this aspect, students know the willingness of teachers to help them after class.

Besides, in china, schools always use questions to conduct the survey from students on teachers’ evaluation, which is an effective way for students to give objective evaluations to their teachers. The reason is that not only do students choose one of numbers from one to nine, but they can answer the questions using their own words as well, which ensures the effectiveness of students’ evaluation. So students could give right evaluations to their teachers.

In conclusion, I think school should ask students to evaluate their teachers for several reasons, such as in academic and other aspects and the way they conduct the teachers’ evaluation.

一想到大下个星期六我就要考试了,
一早就起来了,
做了一下计划.
这个时候真的觉得有点紧迫感了,

还有12天,我不看电视,我不聊天,
