手生得很厉害,看样子以后的天天坚持写了,还有几乎正好一个月
感觉地一段的意思表达得不清楚,欢迎狂拍
题目
Only through mistakes can there be discovery or progress.

正文 453 words
I concede with the speaker that mistake can bring us certain discovery or progress, for error and correctness are actually two sides of a coin, and mistakes show us how can the invention or theories be improved.  The assertion, however, overstate the role of mistakes so much that take them as necessity for discovery or progress, especially when significant loss is at stake.

I concede that by appreciating the importance of mistakes, the speaker is on the correct philosophic side. A cursory glance of history will reveal that nothing discovered is purely correct, which is just the premise of any discovery or progress. Let us take the discovery of Relativity Theory as an illustrating instance. Any observant individual will come to the fact that the great discovery is just based on the inability of Classic Physical Theory by Newton in explaining phenomena in particles' micro-world. Nevertheless, Relativity Theory does not deny that classic theory successfully explains the phenomena when objectives are moving at a relatively slow speed. That is any truth have its own limitation, beyond that, maxim will devolve into fallacy.

Furthermore, by showing us the defects of original designs, mistakes indeed breed discoveries and progress. Although mistakes and certain loss always come to us hand in hand, few of us will deny that certain mistakes can hardly be realized otherwise by an end of failure--that is mistakes serve as an effective and ultimate indicator of defects. Consider a telling and heartrending example of space shuttle of Columbia, whose prang is a reflection of outmoded design and defects of anti-heat system. Once the tragedy informed us the defect, we make great effort and progress in the improvement of space shuttles, which actually bred the successful launch of Discovery.

However, mistakes are far from indispensable in the process of advancement, especially when the failure can result in significant loss. Therefore we should always be meticulous of mistakes, and try hard to prevent them, which is actually possible on the basis of our accumulated knowledge and experience. Let us back to the example of space shuttle of Columbia, the death of seven astronauts might be prevented by an earlier improvement of space shuttles anti-heat system. In fact, by asserting the necessity of committing mistakes, we risk encouraging imprudent actions and are likely to pay expense of such behaviors.

In final analysis, I concede mistakes are important indicator assisting us in finding certain defect, and when we try hard to prevent any mistakes, we actually try hard to postpone any progress, for the correctness and error is two sides of a coin. However, taking mistakes as necessity in progress, we risk encouraging destructive attempts and imprudent actions, which are likely to result in terrible loss.

哈哈,北美的痕迹~

疑惑:你第一个body的例子和中心局好像不符啊。(错误是重要的,在那个方面体现重要?如果是题目中对于成功的获取的重要,你后面的相对论恐怕和他是没有关系的。你想说,牛顿犯了错误,才导致爱因斯坦的成功?好牵强阿)
第二个body,是失败显示了错误吧?只能说失败后可以分析错误进一步成功,而不是错误是失败的直接显示,

第三个body,中心局与例子对应得也很奇怪啊,错误不是进步的必要因素。然后的例子是: 正是由于鼓励这个观点,才导致失败。是想说错误也会导致失败而不是进步么?很明显阿,题目含义你也清楚,是通过错误来学习,没有否认说错误不会导致失败。如果这一段要论证,你要说进步和并不都是通过犯错误才能获得的话,可能会好一点。

你的思路满清晰的,但是所举例子都没能符合。换几个例子应该就可以了。

[对于此段的例子,和gladysry,xiaowenzi感觉差不多,对于这段中心的支持不够,虽然改版后的B1对于例子的陈述强于原版,但还是有不相干的感觉]
