The fellowship package covers tuition and fees, and provides a monthly salary for ninemonths.  The fellowship is a combination of stipend and TAship.

是我的第一个offer。已经4个rejection了。

我申请的是教育心理学（development方向），现在有两个学校给了offer，大家看看去哪里好？


Indiana U － Bloomington 全奖

U of Illinois－Urbana Champaign  AD（不知算ad还是算offer）。UIUC现在只能给一个AD，系里的习惯是录取的时候不发奖学金，要等学生到了学校以后才评奖学金。但是说经费充足，几乎每个申请的人都能拿到。可是这样一来，我签证的时候就没有奖学金的担保了，只能被认为是自费过去读的。

education school的排名IUB靠前一点，但是教育心理学的专业排名UIUC好一点。个人有点倾向UIUC，可是签证的时候只能被当作自费的，会不会比较容易拒签呢？？要是签证不过就一切白忙了啊。。。。  现在签证会不会很难啊？？拒签率高不高？？

另外有没有人了解那两个学校的具体情况呢？比如教授的研究成果的影响力，发论文的数量，和学术期刊的关系，学生发论文的数量和难易程度，以及教授和学生的关系，生活环境，物价，等等等等？？

大家给点意见吧～～

学校不是太好，地方也不算好。钱也少。呵呵，不知道在Knoxsville够不够用哪。

Anyway, this is my first offer.

背景：

美国这边的高中，大学(NYU)
读到一半的master's
GRE: V750 Q780
GPA:3.9
无paper
牛教授推荐
主要觉得自己是在NYU Courant拿数学课比较多， 成绩比较好

当初申的时候教授觉得我的条件不是太好。 因为很多申请人都发过paper, 所以， 根据教授说， 美国本土学生如无paper申请PhD in economics其实并没有其他国家有paper的牛人有竞争力。 好像在NYU几个师兄师姐， 在国内的时候已经发过N多paper, 所以他们申的时候都十拿九稳有offer。 而我自己也不敢申NYU， 因为太牛， 也太多有研究经验的牛人申请。
而PSU 和Maryland最近几年都想培养一批新人， 所以我就好运收到他们的offer了。

希望大家早日收到offer. 加油。

汗， 明日还要考试。。。我还要努力吗。。。。。。

接下去怎么办，自己去找导师要钱么？没有被面过，也不知道未来老板是谁，该去和谁联系了，昏倒？

貌似IE排名还可以，但是穷人啊，没钱咋去勒~~几许欢乐几许愁~

还有，他说的the letter will go out in the mail to you ,从他信的意思看来offer是否会用电子邮件寄过来呢？还是只用邮局寄信呢？

希望没有offer的很快的收到满意的offer, 有offer的收到更好的offer,希望出国的我们都能心想事成

今天收到一邮件，大意如下：

这是说我基本被录取了吗？ 还是要等**Department的消息？
