Should both parents and communities be involved in the local schools to cooperate with professional educators in order to enhance education? Admittedly, I agree with that professional teachers play an indispensable role in education. However it is more efficient for education to educate students with parents and communities.

I concede that professional teachers could provide students with definite subject knowledge. With sufficient teaching experience, professional teachers know how to express some complicated concept into simple ones and how to enlighten students. What is more, professional teachers master the principle of memory and can give students a scientific method to remember. To some extent, the role of professional educators could not be replaced.

However, local schools are an integral part of communities. Therefore communities have responsibility to cooperate with local schools to improve education. The quality of local schools is directly related to the community. If community is willing to support local schools, the quality of local schools could enhance. There are two reasons for the importance of community support. On the one hand, local schools often need money for some beneficial programs. If community could support financially, local schools could offer better environment for students in order to improve the education quality. On the other hand, the financial support from community embodies the social approval of local schools. Local schools will be proud of being emphasis which is a positive reinforcement to motivate local schools to work harder than before. With the involvement of community, the education of local schools could be improved.

In addition, parents also could act a vital role in education with respect to personality and mentality. Like a great man said, parents are the first teacher of children. Parents more or less influence children. Education is a preparation for life and therefore learning professional knowledge is not sufficient for life. As a matter of fact, professional teachers often educate children more with definite subjects such as mathematics than personality. For example, with the gradually increasing competition, people including students face up the demands for adaptation to environment and stress becomes a common problem. Yet in many local schools of China, there is no psychology class or mental heath lesson in order to help students to manage stress. Under this situation, parents are important for students to inform them how to cope with adaptation effectively and how to keep a medium stress level to motivate their study. If parents can not help students to keep mental heath, factors such as stress could impede their improvement of study. Even if professional teachers provide excellent education in definite knowledge, the final effectiveness maybe undermined by other factors.

To sum up, the importance of professional education can not be neglected. Yet with the cooperation of community and parents local school education could be more efficient.
