It is said that IELTS is gradually edging away TOEFL. What do you think?

IELTS is better than old TOEFL. However,the new TOEFL wiil be better than IELTS,because the new TOEFL wiil focus on the communication rather than the language itself.

IELTS will be successed in UK while TOEFL will do the same thing in US.
Because they're two organizations which are based in the two countries, weastern people care about "GuanXi" as well as us Chinese.

er...I don't think it is a meaningful discussion.
whether the two kinds of tests would be pop in some country depends on the specific situation involving lots of factors.
what we should do is accept it.

The discussion is no more than an exploration to the above-mentioned factors you are supposed to figure out, and does nothing with your acceptance to the facts.
