Education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student.

Is education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student? The speaker believes so, although I disagree. In my view, the speaker unfairly generalizes about the nature of contemporary problems, some of which have no analog from special area and some respects are more complex and challenging than any other realms. Nonetheless, I agree that many of the specific education are more than likely to be effective when compared with general education.

I turn first to my chief point of agreement with this statement. We all know different geographic factor determining different conditions for education. In Africa, for example, billions of poor residents have no opportunity to attend local school, meanwhile, if education can be designed only for them the situation will be absolutely different, the poor are able to meet individual education and every other student has the chance to learn more about the world and at the same time, quite rightly, specific education like this will be truly successful and the geographic bridge may not be obvious.

A second uniquely contemporary example has to do with the fact that disabled people like leaf or people who lost their eyesight can acquire so much from specific education. Famous people like Helen keler, who didn't have a minor chance to see the beautiful things in this world, wrote famous book in which influenced numerous healthy general people. However, if people who are disabled like her can receive better education that was designed only for these specials, thus, as we may imagine, according to their resoluteness and insistence, the final results will be so exceptional that nobody can predict. The education meet individual needs and interests prove its effectiveness once again.

I turn next to my points of contention with the statement. General education is the world-known thing that secondary schooling covered most parts of this world. In America, government advocates that the level of secondary schooling should be high enough to meet the social needs. In China, general education is the best, may not the only one, to enlighten students for the reason that, this country has not achieved enough economical base to support the kind of education that designed only for individual needs. From the two above, we can conclude that, general education is also effective not only in every human endeavor but in many specific parts like science, arts, archeology, and so forth.

I agree with the statement also in that certain kinds of education designed for individuals may not be so effective as the speaker said. In our society, there exists a special group of students born with special characters, if people pay special attention on them, the results will be opposite. According to psychologists, people who are received more care, the worse situation might be, because this kind of people are tested as introvert in their character, they do not like to be focused and will easily feel shame or gain pressure. If education objects are people in this kind, maybe the results will not be so effective.

In sum, I think the statement of speaker has its advantages, however, the speaker failed to consider the common phenomena that the whole world is popularly using the general education but not the specific education, as the improvement of the world, we can see education is so effective when it is not designed for individual needs and interests of each students, although in seldom situation education like should be appointed.
