TOPIC [ISSUE 123] It is possible to identify a person's politics within a very short time of meeting him or her. Everything about people-their clothes, their friends, the way they talk, what they eat-reflects their political beliefs.
TIME 45:00  DATA 3-1  WORDS 479

不知道写的是不是有点偏题了
我认为
朋友是可以体现一个人的政治信仰的,物以类聚
对于某些狂热的人,food or dress also can
但是再现代人们的政治观念淡薄了,所以政治信仰的表现对于大多数人来说不是很明显了..
不知道这个第三电会不会有点偏题呢

I fundamentally agree with the assertion that it's possible to identify one's political belief through some apparent clues such as friends. Nevertheless, the author seems to unnecessarily extend the assertion to all the circumstances while ignoring some compelling reasons that sometimes it is not the case.

Firstly, I agree with the author that we can distinguish one's political belief by friends or families since people easily influence each other when the get together. In retrospect, those who devoted to a same dream to save the turbulent China in the beginning of last century came together, then finally build up the Republic of China with the lead of Sun Yat san. Also, those students who woke up earlier and recognized the demagoguery of Hitler  worked together to spread pamphlets to inform the public. People, sharing the same political beliefs, usually have more common in their interests, characteristics, so one's political belief can be fully reflected by friends.

Secondly, I concede that to some people with extreme strong political beliefs, what they eat, what they dress can indicate their political beliefs as well. For instance, many frenzy Nazi still wear clothes with obvious nazi logo, while some Japanese soldiers bear their patches in the Second World War, expressing their devotion to the Mikado. Meanwhile, what one eats will demonstrate one's belief sometimes. A pious vegetarian who believe that people should not hurt animals will never eat any meat, even eggs. Their political beliefs are reflected with their daily lives naturally, combined with their deeds closely. Because once someone dedicate to an idea or ideology, it is easily for one to persist in it with any endeavor.

Nevertheless, in my view, in the peace time with the globalization trend, to most ordinary people, the political belief is not so strong and obvious any more. Whether one in favor of Communism or Capitalism, he or she invariable eat fast food in global chain stores, whether one is support of the Public or the Democratic, he or she may listen to the same hip-pop song, watch the same soap show, browse the same shopping website. Furthermore, from the less and less voting rates, we can not deny that the political beliefs of ordinary people is wading. In the age of information blooming, people concern less about the war in Iraq, the gross domestic production of the nation, or the diplomatic relationship with other countries. Then, only their ballot reflect their political beliefs.  Hence, it’s quite impossible to identify one's political belief immediately in today's society.

In sum, I agree with the broad assertion that one's political belief is fully reflected by one's friends or deeds to a large extent. Nevertheless, in this society which is replete with abundant information, people do not focus on politics as before. Therefore, it's difficult to identify one's political belief in a short time.

I fundamentally agree with the assertion that it's[是不是说最好不用这样的缩写的啊 it is] possible to identify one's political belief through some apparent clues such as friends[是不是应该加个限定词啊?]. Nevertheless, the author seems to unnecessarily extend the assertion to all the circumstances while ignoring some compelling reasons that sometimes it is not the case.[我觉得用it is the case 来形容reason好像有点奇怪,个人观点,FYI]

Firstly, I agree with the author that we can distinguish one's political belief by friends or families since people easily influence each other when the[they] get together. In retrospect, those who devoted to a[the?] same dream to save the turbulent China in the beginning of last century came together, then finally build up the Republic of China with the lead of Sun Yat san. Also, those students who woke up earlier and recognized the demagoguery of Hitler  worked together to spread pamphlets to inform the public. People, sharing the same political beliefs, usually have more common in their interests, [and?]characteristics, so one's political belief can be fully reflected by friends.

Secondly, I concede that to some people with extreme strong political beliefs, what they eat, what they dress can indicate their political beliefs as well. For instance, many frenzy Nazi still wear clothes with obvious nazi[Nazi] logo, while some Japanese soldiers bear their patches in the Second World War, expressing their devotion to the Mikado.

Nevertheless, in my view, in the peace time with the globalization[globalizational?] trend, to most ordinary people, the political belief is not so strong and obvious any more[not as strong an obvious as before? ]. Whether one in favor of Communism or Capitalism, he or she invariable[ly?] eat fast food in global chain stores, whether one is support of the Public or the Democratic, he or she may listen to the same hip-pop song, watch the same soap show, browse the same shopping website. Furthermore, from the less and less voting rates, we can not deny that the political beliefs of ordinary people is[are] wading. In the age of information blooming, people concern less about the war in Iraq, the gross domestic production of the nation, or the diplomatic relationship with other countries.
