看看我改的:

More often than not,(什么意思这句子?) when coming to the issue of whether the decision should be made quickly or after careful thought, some people hold the belief that decisions made promptly are always wrong. (When it comes to the question of whether a decision should be made quickly or after careful thought, some people believe that decisions made hastily are always wrong.) However, is it really the truth? As far as I am concerned, how decisions should be made(这里可以换种说法,侧重点不在HOW) depends on the particular situation the decision maker is facing (the decision maker is in).

It is true  that the decisions that people make quickly are sometimes wrong. (It may be truce that decisions make quickly are sometimes wrong.) In fact, people’s favor keeps changing as the time passes. And a quick decision do (does) not guarantee (allow) enough time for people to fully inspect into (look into or inspect; “inspect into” is wrong) the matter. In our daily life, (Get rid of “in our daily life”) it is not unusual to hear that a couple who got married immediately one or two months after their first appointment divorced soon after their marriage.  (There seems to be a high divorce rate among couples that tied the knot soon after meeting each other for the first time.)(个人感觉这句可以分两小句写哦:))Why? Because not only did the couple lose interest in each other, but also their quick decision for marriage did not allow them to get acquaintance (acquainted) with each other, which turned out to be wrong at the very beginning(好句子!)(Let me stop here. I do not like this paragraph. The reason I made the corrections and/or suggestions was to point out some weak spots in your “language use”. By the way, the last sentence is not a 好句子. Not only is it logically weak—why would a fast decision make people lose interest in their spouse—it is also unnecessarily long-winded.)

Note: Excuse me for being forthright. Since you did not heed my call to lay down your pen and relax, I am giving you these caustic remarks to make you squirm!

Which is a better choice?  living in big cities or in small towns. Different peoples have different opinions due to their respective points of views. Some people prefer to live in big cities, but others do not. However, city born and city bred, I strongly side with the notion that living in big cities is far better than living in small towns. Then I will use some specific reasons to support my idea.
First of all, if people live in big cities, it is more possible for them to seek their niches. As big cities represent better development and brighter future, many companies put their focuses there. So they must need more people to work for them. Take my uncle as an example. He used to live in a Chang an, a small town in Xian’s suburb. Every day he stayed at home and lived with his parents because he could not find job. But two years ago, he decided to go to Xian to pursue his career. He quickly found a terrific job and now he is already the manager of the sale’s department. So from the above, people who live in big cities really have more opportunities to have jobs, don’t they?
In addition, if people live in big cities, they can have better lives. Clothes, houses, foods and transportations are the most important things in everyone’s life. And big cities have the best shopping centers, just like Wal-Mart and Carrefour, people can buy whatever they want there; there also has better transportations, such as express trains and wide roads. Moreover, people can have better house conditions, like Beverly Hills, it is very comfortable to live there. Thus, we may arrive at the conclusion that people really have better lives in big cities.
Finally, if people live in big cities, they can have more new ideas. Because big cities connect more tightly with the outside world, different cultures from different cities impact people’s minds. They receive the information and then turn it into new ideas of their own. A data in a newspaper shows that the inventions which are invented by people living in big cities are 53 percent more than those that live in small towns, because new ideas always create new things. So can not living in big cities bring new ideas to people?
In a word, maybe living in small towns also has some merits. But from the reasons presented above, I do strongly prefer to live in big cities. As people can have more opportunities to get good jobs, have better lives and more new ideas.
