  Throughout our lives music plays an important role in people’s emptional world. Harshly no one do not like listening to music in their spare time. However, when faced the question that why we listen to music, people always tend to have different opinions. As far as I am concerned, I believe that among those reasons there are three most significant ones.

  The most critical reason why people listen to music is to escape stress and difficulties of modern life. Increasing modernization not only bring us vehicles, snack bars, and computers, it also result in a great living pressure due to the competition of employment, worrying about health, and even fastidium about entertainment. When one returns home at night with a run-down body full of tiresome and sorrow, piece of Mozart will sooth his spirit and give him a moment of peace and harmony.

  Another explanation to people’s preference of music goes to the fact that music usually have the invisible power to load their living sensibility, not only the composer’s, but also the listeners’. By enjoying a chapter of solo, we can feel the grief of the composer when he write down these notes and also be touched by this feeling, reminding ourselves of an old friend we have not seen for a log time, or an old place we never been to since last experience. At the same time, we can find a exit for our souls to release our pain, therefore encourage us to move on.

  Furthermore, there is a third sense for us to listen to the music to understand and learn other cultures distinctive from ours. For most of us, all we have is just a small propotion of the globe, and perhaps the most effective way for us to get to know the outer world is listening to their music. By listening to “The Moment” performed by Kenny G, one can feel the tender side of the American people under their aggressive characteristic; by listening to “For Jasmine” we can reach the romantic and energetic inner world of the Chinese people.

  In conclusion, despite so many other candidates in explaining why people love music, I think escaping from the living stress, find the living sensibility and understanding other cultures are most crucial. In a word, we listen to the music to ensure us that we live in a hopeful and splendid world.

LZ把第二段大部分的文字都阐述在“压力”上了，我觉得应该华重笔墨在music如何减轻压力上面，这样和主题更吻合

觉得第二个原因说得比较抽象，好玄啊。。。大概是小妹浅薄吧。。。。
