The purples（purpose） of education are(is) to develop the personality of the individual, to the significance of one’s life for himself or others (The most important function of education is to develop the personality of individual and the significance of his life to himself and others). Therefore（前后看不出因果关系，去掉therefore） I would agree with that education will be more effective, rather than truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student.

As we know, the function of education is to make people qualifiedly (qualified) for society, (and) to equip people with knowledge to contribute to our society, and to help people to truly understand the meaning of life. Common sense tells us that society needs its members to be equipped with certain necessary knowledge. The example in the point is that before a driver can drive his\her new car on the road, he or she must pass the traffic knowledge test first. Maybe it is one of the simplest education in the world, but it is so crucial for his\her and others life safety. Obviously, hardly no one learns traffic knowledge because their interests, rather than the force of the regulations. However, the effect of such education is positive, the awareness of safe driving among drivers absolutely improves, and traffic accident rates thus decrease. Neither Individual needs nor interests make sense here, nevertheless, can you say “no” that such education is actually effective in this case?(例子不太恰当，虽然不是出于interests, 但是出于needs，因为驾驶培训或交通知识是因为个人需要而设计的，另外首句应该突出本段主题)

Besides, at present, many people might regard that subjects such as history and philosophy are not as important as those practical ones. Since these subjects are compulsory in the senior school, they have no choice but to study them. However, due to the study of these subjects which seem to have no practical functions in modern society, the result is cheerful. History might help them accumulate experience, philosophy might help them complete their characters, and art can help them appreciate the beauty of the world. Even more after the force course, they begin to be interested in certain subjects of them. Although education in（delete “in”） here does not serve to meet the individual needs or interests, individual in turn find needs and interests during the procedure of study. (同一句话前后好像矛盾，改成Although this kind of education fails to attract students’ interests, it teaches you how to read, write and speak intelligently, get along with others, and conceptualize problems)

Undeniably, when education is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student, the effect will be better. Either needs or interests of individual can become impulse to make people pursue knowledge. The famous Vinci, for example, due to his incredible interests in art, become a great artist. Without the infatuation in art, he would be not spend (去掉be + would have not spent ) time pursuing it, and not leave (left) so many wonderful works to make us remember him. Notwithstanding, it is not impossible and also no need to make education to meet everyone's needs and interests. What we should do is to make university provide a variety of course, so that students can learn more according to their interests and needs.

Taking choosing courses for example, most of the courses are completely brand new to the students, especially in the primary school, those little children even don't know how to get some information which can help them know more about the new curriculums, let alone find out whether those courses are favorable or not, after all, a choice making should  base on a fundamental inkling of the new courses. In this case, education should be devised to deputize those pupils to choose a comprehensive study in most basic disciplines so that they will at least have some contents to fill their first stage. This kind of exceeding duties seem to promise a balanced education not to cause students deviating at first. We can see education devised generally suitable shows its efficiency by helping the novices get out of the embarrassment of primary utterly ignorance.
Secondly, an unlimitedly meet to the individuals' satisfactions will spoil them by nourish self-central thoughts pattern, which apparently impairs the efficiency of education. Considering that one of  education goals is to impart those adolescents how to be wide-minded ,tolerant enough to comprehend and adapt this world ,especially to let them know the absolute truism that this world can work normally without caring about whether each individual is offended by overlooking personal interests and needs.I remembered that Einstein did not like math at his early age, yet his uncle persuaded him by some enlightening way, and he at last stood on the Nobel prize honor stage. Suppose that without being characterized as compulsory , how can so many difficult sciences such as maths reach so wide a study group. Little children are natural math-zealots, whereas education offers them a opportunity not to be influenced by prejudice from those failures. However, according to the speaker, this necessity will undermine the meaning of education for it may be against some personal dislikes, albeit some are caused by misunderstanding and are pratialness.
