Leisure becomes a growing industry. People no longer used to entertain themselves as before because modern technology made them not any more. To what extent do you agree or disagree?


With the development of modern technology,leisure industry is focused by all of the world and is growing faster than ever.As a result,the way that people enteratin themselves has distinctly changed.

Firstly,children and students spend much more time in front of computers.Sofeware manufacturers can easily produre attractive and funny computer games with the technology of computer science.There are various sorts of games and they provide a amazing experience that one can not have the choice to live though.Teenagers spend nearly most of their time after school operating these machines rather than the way they used to enteratin themselves such as reading,jogging and swimming.

Secondly,people spend most of their time watching TV and videos in their household after a hard-wording day.Nowdays,people are under much  more   stress than before and they are often exhausted after they leave their offices.Therefor,they turn to enteratin themselves at home.As the product of modern t echnology,the aviliability of TV and videos encourages people to stay home to save energy for work.

Finally,technology itself try to change people's entertainment. We now have more options for leisure activities than before. We do not need to go to the theater to watche an opera or concert  because it is more time consuming and,expensiv,we can get it from TV or though the Internet.It is technology that makes it possible.

To sum up,technology has greatly changed the way people enteratin themselves.But they can still spend their leisure time in traditional ways such as reading and traveling.Technology just provide more leisure activities for us,it will not reduce the traditional ways people used to ease themselves.
