As of March 14, 2007, the status of your application is accepted.

本人背景：非211，研究生，本科GPA84(2.9X),研GPA85(3.2X)，一篇国际会议，一篇国内核心。
GRE:考了两次，都很差，v400＋，q800－；TOEFL:尚可，617,5.0

上周spring break分别收到FSU,UT ARLINGTON的offer，都是TA，UTD的教授说"已经推荐我到TA，chance is high".

FSU基本没陶瓷；就是套小米的过程中，一个asso. chair回复我说我的申请很strong.
UTA我在拿到ad后，套过一个我研究领域以外的，但是我感兴趣的教授，但没说要我。后来就没联系了。但结果从offer letter上面看到是他推荐我TA的，所以说，那些教授即使没说一定要你，都会留意你的申请的，必要时也会帮你一下，因此一定要陶瓷，至少混个脸熟。钱20000，不过每个学期要交3000的学费。
UTD是联系得比较多的，还电话聊过一次，答应在funding review过程中给予high priority，同时他给我推荐了一个教授，叫我联系他，结果后面那个教授把我推荐到TA。估计也八九不离十了。估计这个offer如果来的话，钱会比较多，据说TA一个月有2000。
现在UCI来了，还好，上面的陶瓷都留有余地。
UCI的offer估计也是陶瓷的功劳。那个教授一开始很狡猾的，我去年套他的时候说得尽是套话（我还贴过上来的），鼓励我申请；我都不多抱希望的，申就申呗，填申请表的时候说联系过这个教授（可能资料就比较快到他手上了）。三月初，我看到状态是under review已经一个多月了，问他有没有看到我的资料，他说看到，并说trying to get me，但不保证，要我keep fingers crossed. 我等呀等呀，今天早上发现状态变了 offer 来了！三年的fellowship package！钱不多，只有15000每年，免学费，不过是贵在一给就给三年。

Achievement Award for New Engineering Graduate Students.
