Issue 51 [米国有米]第二次作业

Topic: "Education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student."

正文:
Is the personal education that is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests, as the speaker said, the only way to make itself effective? In my personal opinion, no! Admittedly that the sort of education which is well designed for a single person will most properly arouse the potential ability and capability of the individual, it is by far proved to be not the only way to accomplish this. Varieties of other means could as well meet the same purposes. And what is more, it is also unpractical for the educational system to afford such overwhelming burden of individual education according to the social and financial status of the government.

As far as I know, the educational system has not changed much in the form of how the useful information is conveyed from end to end ever since the education became the common social service but not only the privilege of the aristocracies. The students get seated in the classroom, listening to the teachers for the required knowledge they desired or be supposed to know. Nowadays, discussions and experiments are also held during the class for the purpose of making the atmosphere more active and at the same time the information well understood and easy digested. Through this form of education, the students learn about the skills and knowledge upon which they can live when they get involved in the society and more importantly the way to get along and work together with the others, which the personal education will never be able to provide with, and that is right one of the most indispensable qualities an employee should have in the course of cooperation in the modern society. To this extent, the traditional education is a lot more effective than individual education.

Skimming through the history of science and technologies, there exist numerous examples of famous scientists and politicians who are not or only beneficial from the personal education but self-effort to be successful. Albert Einstein, who had changed both the history of physics and human beings for his theory of relativity, was never supposed to be a smart boy in his childhood, and it was neither through the traditional education or the personal education that made him one of the most memorable milestones in the history, although the college education indeed had a great contribution to his discovery. Actually, it was his thirst for the substance of universe and incomparable courage to doubt the authority that present the most extraordinary discovery of the 20th century in front of him. So maybe the education is just standing out of business for it might be mainly the attribute of the individual itself being the critical factor of success. To this extent, no matter traditional or personal education it is, the word of effective should never be used here.

Besides of the reasons above, the education designed for a certain individual cost too much time and money that one might not be able to afford it although it could be more suitable and efficient for a fixed person. The people who have to choose the traditional education may also make the education effective but not that efficient. By and large, I cannot concede with the speaker’s opinion.

In my personal opinion, no!(反驳的是8是太绝对了?毕竟后面Admittedly给人的感觉还是有所保留的赞成) Admittedly that the sort of education which is well designed for a single person will most properly arouse the potential ability and capability of the individual, it is by far proved to be not the only way to accomplish this. Varieties of other means could as well meet (achieve似乎好些)the same purposes. And what is more, it is also unpractical for the educational system to afford such overwhelming burden of individual education according to the social(society) and financial status of the government.(划线部分均为作者观点,感觉似乎可以再简洁些~)

Through this form of education, the students learn about the skills and knowledge upon which they can live when they get involved in the society and more importantly the way to get along and work together with the others, which the personal education will never be able to provide with, (反驳的有力!)and that is right one of the most indispensable qualities an employee should have in the course of cooperation in the modern society. To this extent, the traditional education is a lot more effective than individual education.(建议LZ在段首也可以把主旨略带一下,这样看起来更清晰)

By and large, I cannot (completely)concede with the speaker’s opinion.(作者在头尾都部分的承认了原观点的正确,但中间两段都是在反驳,我觉得可以适当的加些正面的例子和论证,这样使文章看起来更饱满)

总的来说,偶以为写得不错的,很值得偶学习~~~~LZ可以限时做了~~~
