I agree with speaker that it education is truly effective ,even desirable, when it comes to be specifically designed to meet the student individual needs and interests. Consider that the pragmatism plays a significant role in education; otherwise the contention of education has little function. However, many disagreements about the truly inherent nature of education could arise mushroomingly. The connotation of education seems to be more complex ,in my opinion, than that the speaker given above ,especially considering it concludes broader implications.

One reason for my fundament agreement of speaker is that although purposes on that students learn knowledge on campus or in other forms of pedagogy may vary from each to each, the ultimate step is entering into certain vacation to embody individual values. A adept plumber can acquire self-satisfaction from appreciation given by homewives ;a distinguished teacher can gain respect from students learning knowledge from him; a doctor can receive honors from valescent patients  cured by him. When individuals comes to such life-stage, he or she ,of course, would like to find the real gist of education. Nowadays, as we known, more and more universities emphasize more pragmatic education than before. In my university, the principle of my pharmacology college once said" I promise you all get the jobs after graduation, you thus, are wise to be preparing all knowledge and skills needed from now for future utility" .It is right but not deeply true.

Having consider that detractors claim that education contain more significant meaning for individuals such as lifting self-quality and broadening the breadth, understanding gradually the meaning of society, populace and gist of life. Cultivating the correct angels of consideration, the way of taking actions, the manager of speaking public and the self-value showing out, and forth ,  are closer to inherent nature and intrinsic purpose of education ,rather than only gaining skills from practical education. Another disagreement from detractor is that in some social realm, such as literature and philosophy, the education in the abstract fields ,is not simply to tell how to write or where the research path extents, true utility of education is to teach students how to read life and what could dig out from life and extant world .

In final analysis, to meet the individual needs and interests of each student is not the only effective task of education. As Confucius saying in Analects, things is not always as seemly like the things seen, similar that education. We need realize the gist of education to practice, to learn and disclose the self-value brought by education. Nevertheless, in any stage a educator who replies chiefly on only giving skills betrays the true meaning of education and ends up forfeiting the sense of education.

第一篇issue,凌晨完成,辛苦!你的组友还没帮你改,我就先献丑呈上我改的了:)。文章挺不错的字数也并不少,读下来我觉得主要有两个问题。一是似乎有些偏题,你讨论了很多教育是否应该实用化,而topic的论点是教育是否应该“度身定做”。紧扣论题写作会比较好;二是你喜欢用生僻的词和复杂的句型,不过看来驾驭的能力还不足,还需多看范文哦。良好的开端是成功的一半,再接再厉!加油!
