As the science and technology play a more and more important role in the development of society, the human's talent, the key factor of science and technology, draw much more attention than ever before. And how to exploit people's talent becomes the focus of modern education. In this issue, the author assert that only when education is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student, will it be truly effective. However, in my point of view, according to the situation of today's society I can not agree with the author.

On the one hand, from the point of a teacher, it is impossible to design special education plan for every student. As we all know that, student's number is much more than that of teacher, so if every student have different education plan, then the teacher should prepare different lectures and materials for them. But the problem is that the teacher only 24 hours a day just likes anyone else, how he or she can divide it into many pieces. Even though, he or she can manage it, can you imagine the quality of this kind of education?

On the other hand, in a student's eye, even a undergraduate student may not very sure about his or her interests, how can a high-school or elementary school student know himself or herself completely. According to my experience and my observation, many students in universities don't know what is they need, what is they want to be in the future. If let students have the right to make their own education plan, then school will not be school anymore, it maybe more like a "zoo" or a "banquet". Moreover, even some students know themselves and can make their own choices, then how a school can described above ensure these students don't be disturbed by other students.

Admittedly, specially designed education does have many advantages than traditional education. In traditional occasion, in one class, all students study same curriculum, take part in same activities, do same homework, and so forth no matter how different they are in background, start point, or destination. In the long run, many students would lose their talent and interests. For example, when Faraday, the founder of electromagnetic, still a young man, he was regarded as ordinary, if not stupid, person, but Davy, a famous chemist, find Faraday was different from other people, so he give him a chance to be his assistant, and at last, Faraday initiate the electromagnetic. From this point, specially designed education does have some advantages.

In sum, although specially designed education have advantages, it is too difficult to carry out today. What we can do today is to find the middle way between the traditional method and the specialized education, or setup some programs to those who need the special designed education.
