TOPIC: ISSUE154 - "Both parents and communities must be involved in the local schools. Education is too important to leave solely to a group of professional educators."

1. Education is of vital importance to people.
2. Education can not be done all by professionals.
3. Parents and communities should obey professional educator's instructions.

I strongly agree with the assertion that both parents and communities must be involved in local schools, since education is of great importance. Though some people believes educators are enough for education, since they are really professionals, the importance and characteristics of education decides that it can not be done alone.

Education process is a great treasure which even decides people's future. During education, people learned various kinds of knowledge from textbooks and teachers, learned how to deal with classmates through games and conflicts, and the most importantly, learned how to observe and reason correctly by numerous trials and errors. In today society, a lot of surveys held in different site of the world all demonstrate that people with higher education experience are usually more competent, thus own more money and higher social respect. And the importance of education is so well accepted that most of the countries legislate to assure children have the right to receive at least primary educating.

What is more, education is not the acronym of schooling, which means it needs various participants including not only students and educators. It is true that during school time, professional educators is solely responsible for teaching knowledge, however, during the spare time, it turns to parents and communities who aimlessly played as another professional teacher to provide feedbacks for what has been learned from school. For example, during school time, we learned how to write compositions to express sincere emotions and true love, but the final judgment of whether it really shocks people can only be done by parents and society.

However, though parents and communities also play an important roll in education, they still need for the professional's instruction. Professional educators, though can not accomplish education process all by themselves, are still apt at education theories and have bundles of experiences. Proper consideration of their suggestions and coherent cooperation with them would surely enhance the effect of educating. For example, most of the primary and secondary schools in China held meetings with students' parents every term, and most of the parents would come, because from this meeting, they can learn how to educate their children together with teachers in a more scientific way. Since educators are professionals, we should respect for their authority.

In sum, as was stated above, since education is vital influential to people's life, and also because teachers are not enough to accomplish education themselves, parents and communities should also participate in it for their unneglectable effects in education.
