It is beyond a shadow of doubt that taking a practical point of view may result in successand Pragmatic behavior guarantees survive. We indeed live in the mundane world: we have to do everything that support us for life. So we must take it pratically, economically. How to live a happy life ? we should consider how to earn money. How to be promoted in the office? We should learn how to deal with trivial matters and how to communicate with others? Of course, we need practical arrangement, which will bring us to the success in life and work.
In reality, there does exit a wide variety of ways that leads to success. Something, for instance, idealistic may be another factor that lead to success. A prominent example in the academic realm or in the case of science would be Hawking, one of the greatest scientist in this century, who won the nobel prize due to his theory in theoretical physics. A question suddenly occurs to my mind : is it practical? I mean whether the theory can be applied everyday or does it have any practical use in our society. May be not. However, Hawking’s theory was accepted by some physicist as well as the common people, which may be reflected in the pression of the book, named “the history of time”, which is regarded as the most best-sellers in the world . this may be because, I think, the theory will make us learn the universe further and idealistically predict some rules that may exert great impact on the formation of our world and the human beings ourselves by reasoning.

The above mentioned indicates that something idealistic may help us pursue the future that leads to success. Another paradigm of this applies equal force in the worlds of business. It is obvious that nothing more needs to be described concerning with Microsoft, which achieved great success in IT field. Several decades ago, computers, which is commonly utilized in every aspect of the society, was just still a conception. But just at that time, one young man, Bill Gates, find the great potential of computers and attach importance on the possible practice in the future. Finally, he achieves great success.

The author also suggested Pragmatic behavior and idealistic view. Partly accepted, Confusion about the point is also evident in comments that suggest that idealistic views tend to be superceded by simpler, more immediate options. There is no doubt that Pragmatic behavior guarantees survive, while do idealistic views tend to be replaced by more concise ones? I do not think so. Once the idealistic were replaced by more simpler options, everything in this world would turn to be short-termed. No one cares what the future would be, no one concerns what the human beings would be. The following examples in society and politics can best illustrate my ideas. We human beings are entering the twenty-first century, however, what occurs to us everyday? The endless conflict in middle east, the unchangable poverty in Africa, the continuous unsolved issues in the world such as the abused drugs, the widespread of AIDS, and the severe pollution, which can not be overcome in one day. We need considerable careful consideration, we need long-run policy to prevent them from aggravating, we need every possibly feasible actions or idealistic ones, considered presently, to solve the above-mentioned problems. While, if these possible measures were to be superseded by simpler, short-run, and more immediate options, what would happen? Hard to imagine.

In conclusion, it does not matter whether one take a practical of idealistc point of view, what really matters is that both of them may all lead to the great success in any specific aspect of the society and the idealistic views can not be replaced by simpler, more immediate options.
