I’m an international applicant. Is my application process different?
As an international applicant, you still need to provide the Graduate School with the same required materials as other applicants. A complete application consists of an Application for Graduate Admission, all official transcripts, applicable test scores, professional letters of recommendation, and the application fee. In addition, please request that the official scores for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) be sent to the Graduate School (CEEB Code: 6032). If you have a degree conferred by a U.S.-accredited higher education institution, the TOEFL is not required.
Two additional forms are required of international applicants who are accepted for the graduate study at Baylor University. The Visa Authorization Form and the Confirmation of Financial Resources Form will be included with the letter of acceptance sent to you by the Graduate School. You can also download these forms by clicking here.
If you have questions about the process to obtain your visa or questions about the above forms, please contact the International Programs office by calling (254) 710-1461.
If you have any non-English transcripts, you will need to have them translated by an official translating agency. Please contact Educational Credential Evaluators (www.ece.org), World Education Services (www.wes.org), or Global Credential Evaluators (www.gcevaluators.com) in order to get an official translation of your transcripts. What do I do if one of my transcripts is not in English? Again, if you have any non-English transcripts, you will need to have them translated by an official translating agency. Please contact Educational Credential Evaluators (www.ece.org), World Education Services (www.wes.org), or Global Credential Evaluators (www.gcevaluators.com) in order to get an official translation of your transcripts.
