182"It is dangerous to trust only intelligence."
1)  Ignoring cultivation of important characters other than intelligence leads to potential damage to society.
a)         A person without EQ might go against others extremely. Such as Ma Jiajue(马家爵), one Chinese university student who kill several dorm mates.
2)  Students who narrowly pursue high score are difficult to be sent out as well educated men or women.
a)         A student without interpersonal skills finds it hard to get a favorable position in jobs market.
3)  The function of intelligence is limited.
a)         To a patient, love is more effective than medicine.
4)  Admittedly, intelligence plays a significant role in modern era.

192"Success in any realm of life comes more often from taking chances or risks than from careful and cautious planning."
1)  At scientific level, most of invention and theory come from continually observation rather than inspiration, if seldom.
a)         Edison failed 1800 times to invent a light bulb.
2)  At business level, profit is the reward of careful planning instead of taking chances.
a)         An effective executive should know deeply about market by longtime observing.
3)  At political level, success often are born from caution planning, while taking risks even leads to disaster.
4)  Admittedly, sometimes taking chances have positive effects.

206"People are too quick to take action; instead they should stop to think of the possible consequences of what they might do."
1.       Meditation before our actions is at first informative to our society. It would ensure the stability and prosperity of society.
a)         Political leaders make significant decisions.
2.       As for individuals, meditation before actions is also beneficial. It will improve individuals’ own welfare.
a)         南辕北辙的例子。
3.       However, in case of emergencies, pre-mediation could only contribute to dilatory actions which might result in unexpected disastrous consequences. If a person is in need of help, pre-mediation will only contribute to the harms to others. At this circumstance, promptness is required.

211"Any decision-whether made by government, by a corporation, or by an individual person-must take into account future conditions more than present conditions."
Partial agree: Making decisions should calculate not only present situations but also future ones. 1.          Future conditions are important when making a decision.
Industry revolution: not take into account the pollution, the result: thinner ozone layer, greenhouse effect. Corporations’ executives should set longtime goals.
2.      Present ones have equal crucial roles.
         Hungry people need food immediately without considering much on future conditions.
    3. A balance should be made between these two kinds of considerations.

212"If a goal is worthy, then any means taken to attain it is justifiable."
1. On whether a goal is worthy, different people have different opinions.
2. Even a goal is truly worthy, the statement above go to extremes. We should consider balance between the cost and the reward.
         a)  Preventing Environmental pollution should consider the interest of companies.  
3. However, sometimes, a worthy goal deserves any means taken to attain.
a)         Achieve peace by war

1Although there are points of comparison, much dissimilarity remains. False comparison leads to harmful result.
a)         Different countries face different situations and have different opinions.
b)         两个人都头痛,不过原因不一样,不能比较。
2.       Considering everything’s own terms often results in favorable aftermath.
3.       However, comparison is the way we study.

2.       Sometimes we need intense focus to gain success, while moderation often cause mediocrity.

a)         Many people study computer skills.
b)         Parents prefer their sons and daughters to study specific professions, such as pre-law, pre-medicinal, or “pre-rich”.
2.       People with special natural talents or interest can do better in that field, which leads them to choose that work for the feeling of success.
a)         Many people choose to be teachers and nurses, because they have a natural talent to express their love and like to devote themselves.
b)         Arts consider beauty is more important than anything else.


236"Encouraging young people to believe that they can accomplish great things if they try hard enough is both misleading and potentially harmful."
1.       Young people need comments from outside to know themselves and to find the potential energy in their body.
a)  A good dancer begins her successful career life from the praise of her beautiful action when she was young
b)  Even a smart boy, who is often abused, will consider himself as a dull boy.
2.       Encouraging gives them hope and interest.
a)  A great scientist, such as Einstein, was often encouraged by his mother in spite of bad his remark in the school.
3.       Encouragements bring out attempts to succeed, which is necessary for young people.

1.       Businessmen mainly purse profits, while the business experience accumulates as the former process goes.
2.       In Mathematics, people discover and prove a lot of lemma in order to build their theory.
3.       Inventors spare no effort to invent something, not to fail again and again.

1.       Our democratic value requires our government to tolerate some challenges from the citizens for better development of our country.

2.       Excessive challenge serves to undermine the government’s prestige, even to result in commotion in society.
a)         Illicit demonstration.
b)        Violent resist.
3.       Proper challenges are needed.

(只能说明没有EQ 而不是trust only on intelligence)
