嗯，我发现现在写作文有一个很严重的问题就是例子和段的中心句感觉合起来很困难，有点脱节-.-
而且写到后面，发现题目中还有些方面没有分析全，不知道算不算走题啊 -.-
最重要的就是…… 我肚子里面的例子太少了，沮丧ing……

I fundamentally agree with the speaker on the assertion that the effective way to succeed, in any realm of life including academic, social, business, and political, is take a practical point of view. Nevertheless, the speaker ignores the importance and necessity of idealistic views by claiming that idealistic views tend to be superceded by simpler, more immediate options.

In contemporary society with rapid pace and intense competition, pragmatic behavior can guarantees survival, because practical methods can solve immediate problem effectively and quickly, so people learn to think in a rational and practical way to win their goals. For instance, at the very beginning, when human beings had the hungry feeling, they took on a practical method of organizing hunting activities with tools but rather than a dreamy view that there would be a piece of meat fallen from the sky. Accordingly, with the help of pragmatic behavior, humanity survived in the world and accustomed to capricious weather and potential danger everywhere. Moreover, in the realm of policy, leaders should implement practical approaches to solve social problems. Take decreasing criminal rate for example, setting down relative laws and enhancing police forces both are effective and practical methods to achieve the objective, whereas hoping that criminals realize their guilt and quit doing bad is obvious idealistic opinion which can do little to cut down criminal rate.

However, it is unfair to deny the power of idealistic point of views. First of all, most people are instinctive to think things positive and take an idealistic view at first, which could encourage people and offer them a beautiful hope. Without hope and courage, individuals would feel upset about everything and become lack of enthusiasm of life, never mind gaining success. 〔这一段要是可以举个例子说明一下字数就够了，呜呜〕
Second of all, idealistic views would last as long as possible until they are realized. Since 1000 years ago, human beings had dreamed to fly in the sky, which was a bold and unreachable goal at that time. With the endeavors from generation to generation, now we can travel in the sky by plane. Regardless how ridiculous the view were, as long as people never stop pursuing the goal with pragmatic methods, the idealistic view would finally turn out to be a practical one.  In the realm of society, there are still many idealistic views which were put forward several decades before for creating a better world. Owen, who pointed out the necessity to annihilate difference between the poor and the rich, was considered as a idealist in his era. However, his opinion on mutual wealth still lives as an objective for many governors to accomplish.

Thirdly, idealistic views can come true with the help of pragmatic behaviors. Without practical behaviors, idealistic views would always exist only in people's dreams. Refer to the produce of plane, ancestors at first simulating the flying style of birds, produced slide plane with two big wings which could slide for several hundred miles. And then by using the principle of steaming machine that obtaining huge power from burning fuel, their plane could fly further. Each step of the advancement for plane industry is finished due to the usage of pragmatic methods, as wings and powers, to break all obstacles.

From what discussed above, a conclusion can be drew that idealistic and practical point of views are not incompatible. Taking practical actions guided by idealistic views can lead to success, for pragmatic behavior ensure us to solve immediate problems, while idealistic views can give us hope, courage, and direction.
