2．即使认为goal is worthy, 也并不意味任何可以达到目的的手段都是合理的。
3．有些时候，为达目的任何手段都是合理的，且必须的。如维护世界和平，国家团结，民族统一等。

There are numerous goals in our life that we want to achieve. A famous saying goes like this : “Once set a goal, just do it.” Some people argue that if a goal is worthwhile, any means and endeavor taken to obtain it are justifiable. However, what kind of goals can be deemed worthy does not get a common agreement.

The top fundamental task is to comprehend what goal is worthy. Different people may have diverse ideas. One goal is of importance and worth to an individual may deemed as garbage or futile to another person. For example, someone thinks going abroad for further study is quite fantastic, but which is meaningless to those who don’t want to go overseas to have a dissimilar life and study experiences. So whether an aim is meaningful depends on individuals.

Another aspect, if a truly desirable goal to someone may be detrimental to others or what’s worse, to the public, we cannot admit it as the member of worthy goals. Consider the politician who states and propaganda the peace and equal of the world in his election speech, which may seem to be a laudable goal. However, some sinister lusts may invisible beneath deeply in his heart. These lurks can beget tremendous disasters to the people of its country and even of other countries. The war between America and Iraq is just the case. In conclusion, when a goal is originally set for benefits of most people, which will definitely not baleful to others can be worthy to attain.

Even if a goal is admittedly worthwhile, it does not mean that whatever it takes to reach it is justifiable. Some children can be self-indulgent and addicted in internet games. But it is truly ludicrous for government to close all the Internet coffees, or ban the companies which produce software of games. We should never go extremes when comes to attaining a goal.

Admittedly, in some certain circumstances, such as, to attain independence of a country, or unity of a nation and so forth, any means that favor to achieve it are justifiable. For instance, Chinese government is always doing all its endeavors to unit Tainwan which is one of the territory of People’s Republic of China by peaceful ways. However, once negotiations can not handle, wats will no doubt to taken into account, because the united of China relates to emotions and benefits of all Chinese people.  

In summary, once a worthy and pursuable goal is set, and proper means that can achieve it should be carried out. Do not distinguish what is worthy or not, the conclusion that any means can attain it is justifiable is arbitrary and ridiculous.
