总的观点：如果教育可以满足每个学生的需求和兴趣，它的确可以非常有效的。但是这样的做法在实际中存在很大的困难。（有保留的反对）

1，  每个人的特点是不一样的，很多人在某些方面表现出特别的天赋和兴趣。如果可以根据每个人的不同特制安排教育，有利于人才的培养。
2，  但是教育所涉及的范围很广泛，有很多人，而且每个人的特点又不一样。现实中真对每个学生设计不同的方案存在很大的难度，不是很可行。(可能性)
学生也必需学着去适应教育。在绝大多数情况下，环境是不能改变的，学生必需去适应环境。这应该也是教育的一部份。（必需性）


The speaker claims that Education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student. I agree with the speaker that if the education can take the needs and interests of each student it will be effective. However, the speaker overlooks the difficulty and necessity of such kind of behavior.

First, I concede that a good education which can be designed to meet the need of individual will be very helpful to develop the students’ talent and motivation. All students are so different that even two students who were bought up in the same environment will show different interests and talent. Some students show great interest in music while some other students are quite good at mathematic. If the education cannot meet the students’ need and interest, maybe we will lose many musicians, scientists, poets and etc. If Mozart was only taught to chemistry instead of music, then we may get one more so-so chemist but lose a great musician. The advantage of specific education is obvious. Yet, concerning the possibility and the necessity of such specific education, several criticisms can be pointed out. In the first place, the author fails to see the difficulty to carry out such kind of education. Compared with the number of students the source of education is quite limited. We cannot provide every student such a good environment which can just meet the need and interest. Every year, millions of students enter the universities and college all over the world for the further studies. The universities which can provide students such a specific education is not exist. It is even a difficult job for a teacher to tell every student from each other since the number of the students is too large. Also, it is usually for a student to find out what is his or her interest. What’s more, if a student is only interested in playing video games or even worse, should our education still be designed to meet this interest? The answer is quite obviously clear.

In addition, such specific education is also unnecessary since we humans live in a society based on lots of common understandings. Some fundamental subjects should be taught in school and students cannot get everything they need in the future from school. In another word, the education will only provide the students the basic abilities of learning and thinking. It is unnecessary and also impossible to teach the students everything they need. What’s more, usually people cannot change the environment which they are in. It is necessary for people to change themselves to meet the environment instead of complaint about the environment. It is also true for the students when they meet the education that does meet their interest. If our education should be meet the need of every student, should our society be designed to every person in the world?
Taking into account all that I have discussed above, we may safely come to the conclusion that it is perfect for the education to meet the need of all the students. However, it is very unnecessary and impossible to do so. What we need to do is just to provide students a flexible and promising environment to help them develop freely.
