As the speaker contends, it is a general way to divide laws into two types by considering its justice. I agree with the speaker that every member of society should be responsible to follow just laws, and needs to pay more attention on acting contradict when encounter unjust ones.

Law, body of official rules and regulations, generally found by authority, is set for governing a particular kind of activity. As it is usually enacted by lawmakers, a group only evolves a minority of people--even though claiming that it represents the public's wills--law can never be judicial all the time—it is fortunate, in the modern society, that the just law plays a predominant role in the legislature system. Law responds to the society's regulations of morality, people's judicial opinion and even traditional customs. Hence, it facilitates to maintain the stability of society, and guarantees the serenity and harmony to people's life. Without Hong Kong's traffic rules, for instance, which enforce vehicle drivers to drive in the left-handed track of a two-way street, either drivers or pedestrians would be trapped in chaotic streets and the efficiency of transportation would be severely crippled. This simple case reflects that only if individuals in a society are conscious to obey laws, the society could be peaceful, orderly, relatively stable.

On the other hand, in spite of respecting and conforming the law are required to keep society's serenity, people arouse up to oppose unjust laws are inevitable for promoting society’s development. As mentioned above, laws are divided as just laws and unjust laws. Since "just" stands for acting or being in conformity with what is morally upright or good, the unjust laws are apparently on the contrary side of the righteous. It can be aptly exemplified by the following case. The Abolitionism, led by brave opponents of slavery, catalyzed the emancipation of all slaves in America. This revolution not only liberated humble Africa-Americans, but also bolstered the advocacy of equality, and assisted to smooth the way for America's industrialization. In short, when confronting unjust laws, it is wiser for every individual to resist them instead of yielding, for abandoning those laws can contribute greatly to the society.

However, adopting violent forms, say, committing a crime, is not recommended to rectify the system of laws. The case of Bin Laden, adds great weight to this reasoning. This terrorist, who was the planner of 911, stirred up the whole America as he was strongly resentful about several "unjust" rules carried out by the America. This resistance turned to be an unprecedented tragedy, and a totally wrong action, which slaughtered thousands of innocent Americans, but cannot solve any problems at all. Actually, it is more acceptable to ameliorate the justice in a legal way, that is, a moderate way. Take, Legislation reform as example, it is one of the most feasible methods to struggle with unjust laws for further fairness.

To sum up, as laws serve to regulate the society's order and rule its members' behavior, it is every individual's duty to admit and obey just ones. Meanwhile, people also need to be encouraged to defy unjust laws--which may debilitate society's normal development--in proper ways, for if extend "justice-guards" extremely to become bigots would do harm to society as well.
