"If that's anything we've learned over the last 50 years about the area of international studies,it's that one can not approach these problems in isolation."President John Hennessy's words usher us into the idea of a global university designed to engage students in the process of solving the world's most persistent social problems.By unifying and strengthening our efforts in the area of international affairs,especially international unpeace and insecurity,the unreasonable governance at all levels of society,and poor human health,I affairm a global university will play a special role in addressing these issues and providing real-world solutions.

The first theme for the global university to study is pursuing peace and security in an insecure world.it has been more than sixty years since the over of world war two.But their are still ceaseless battles and conflicts no matter between countries or just different groups in a country.Although people tend to prevent or suppress these by force,it will only stop these disharmony temporarily and ostensibly.The roots of these conflicts or battles which make up a insecure world is the opposability of believes,cultures and values.Peoples with adverse backgrounds just can't or reluctant to understand each other.They blame the difference of their adversaries but ignore their similar aspects.This can't be tackled just by sanction or war.For example,The Israel and Palestine are two neighbors whose people are totally different in race,believes and cultures.Thus They are incongruent and usually have conflicts.When conflicts happen,two parts are just strike the other parts by force,which will cause more people hurt or die,hence  cause the peoples generate deeper adverse feelings to the each other.If we can build global universities for the students from this two countries to study mutually.May be through constant communication about the other group's believes,cultures and values,the youth from these two can get to know each other well and gradually elimilate their deep feud.

The second theme for the global university to study is reforming and improving governance at all levels of society.The history experiences tell us:study form more developed countries can develop faster while no study makes no improvement.In the age between the year 1950 and 1980,the china government just refused to learn or take donation from other countries,the government administrators mistakenly affirm the point that one can strive to access his success by do arduously himself.As a result,the country got very slow improvement in this age.The same condition accurd in North korea at the contemporary era.In fact,due to lack of communication with the other part of the world,this country are lagging behind the developed countries further and further but still ego about himself.The only thing can remind people the existence of the country is its nuclear bomb issue which makes the world more insecure.On the adversary,if you learn with an open mind,you'll get developed rapidly.In the end of the 19th century,when the Japen are still a agricultrual country in feudalism.In order to get their country as strong as the industrial western countries.The administraters in Japen totally open their countries to the western merchants.They learn western thechnologies,absorb western advancing knowledges.Depend on their inherent character of arduousness,miracle just happened.An unprecedented powerful Japan empire engendered as in one night and are still maintaining it's leadship in economy nowadays.If we establish a global university,then students from different levels of soicety can learn from other societies more frequently and profoundly,which will continuously improve their countries' governance to adapt to the need of developing rapidly.

The last but yet essential theme is advancing human health and well-being.It is not hard to conclude that poor health conditions is radically stem form poverty.Millions of people in the third-world countries can't even struggle themselves to adult age while people in the developed countries spend myriad of dollors on their pets,cars and recreation.While we blame the people in the developed countries don't compassionate and donate to the people in the third world,many people from developed countries just don't know how bad the situation in the third world is.If we establish a global university.Students from different economical world can get to know each other well,which can make the process of support the poor countries more conveniently.

To sum up.For thousands of years,the tie between different peoples in the world are getting increasingly tight but yet not tight enough,which lead to the existence of various social problems.We must keep on striving to find ways of getting peoples from all over the world more closer.To approach this,the establishment of a global society is neccessary.So why not give it a try!
