I am pleased to inform you that the admissions
committee is recommending that you be admitted to the Ph.D. program
in Economics for Fall 2007.

Students often have questions about financial support beyond any
initial award described in the admissions letter.  After the first
year of study, additional financial support (i.e. fellowships,
teaching or research assistantships) is awarded based on academic
achievement.  Students making satisfactory progress are eligible to
receive support from the Economics department.  We have a strong
record of supporting continuing students through completion of their
Ph.D. degree.

还是写信或电话问一下第一年有没有钱吧。第一年以后肯可能是有钱的，所以如果ｐｒｏｇｒａｍ好还是值得去的
