when I was young I always thinking that why my father came to the small village married my mother and offspring me. I was jealous of my younger sister who was born in a big city.
when I was a child, I lived in a small town. I don’t know how is the plane looks like. Probably, I even don’t know what does the washing machine do. If you ask me which place would you prefer to live in, There is no doubt that I will choose the big city as my first choice.

In the past, the people which lived in a small village their thought and ideas were very traditional and simple. They thought that study was the only way to success. The children study all the time. There is no way to go out play with their friends and developing their hobbies. After school they have to do homework which will never be finished. Sometimes they must stay up all night to review the lessons, especially the final exam is draw near. On the contrary of the big city, the parents are pay attention to their children’s all the field development. The children can do what they really want to do. In a big city, the children are versatile.

when I was 16 years old, my parents eventually back to their hometown which is the modernization and biggest city in China. I found there are very different from the small town. In the big city, the school’s facilities are modernization and the teachers’ teaching conception are otherwise-minded. The teaching methods are so flexible and interesting. We can learn from the games.

The most important way why I choose live in a big city is the social security. My parents lived in a small town had no social welfare and social security in the past. Now in a big city the social security system is very complete and as clear as a bell. They are getting older and older, the city provide the medicare to them. so they don’t need to worried about that when they are fall ill they haven’t enough money to cure the disease.

All in all, The reasons why I choose to live in a big city, because of the modernization, good quality of study environment and complete social security system.

The environment of living, which is the one of the most essential aspects in people’s life, influences human’s behaviors, the line of thinking, the way of dressing, the way people speak. It is becoming a culture of community. Taking this into consideration, I think small town is better than big city that provides people with optimal living conditions.

Initially, the reason for dwelling in the small town is the smoothing and comfortable life provided by the pastoral view. There, I can enjoy the rising sun in the morning, the first cock crow, the twittering of birds in the tree. I feel so close to the nature and the gentle pace of living. Dwellers living here are able to hold a more positive attitude for life and achieve more goals. For example, an artist of aestheticism can have an inspiration of creating when he lives in the idyllic environment.

Oppositely, the obvious things brought about by noisy and flashy city life are more pressure and forever-lasting anxiety, agonizing and torching people’s mind day in and day out. Dwelling in the country, people can relax themselves through the peaceful environment.

Finally, the suble explanation rests on the fact that country habitants are fortunate enough to enjoy the cozy and pleasant ambience of the family without exhausting social life. People in city are always busy working, so that they spend little time with their family. The relationship is getting less and less.

Although, city life makes it move convenient to purchase a job, and city salaries are significantly higher than those in small town, I would prefer the small town for its comfortable living conditions.

Some people prefer to live in a small town. Others prefer to live in a big city. Which place would you prefer to live in? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.

Have you ever kept yourself waiting for the only bus in the small town for an hour? Have you ever got a hard ill suddenly but the doctor didn’t know how to cure it? Have you ever felt so boring that you want to buy some beer to drink with some friends at mid night, but the store in the town had been closed in the 11 o’clock? if you don’t have such experience ,you would never know how comfortable living in a big city is to you life.
Living in a big city , varies of vehicle can be chosen up to people’s  customs. Such as , subway, bus, motorbike, and so on. Moreover subway is only available in a big city. the merits of it ,such as quick, on time, and saving money make it became the first choice of modern people. And with the development of technical, it can be conclude that there will be more and more vehicle provided to people who live in a bid city.
As known to all, the biggest hospital, the most advanced medical equipments ,and the most famous doctors are all in the big cities. If some one who got heartdiesease, the patient can be sent to the hospital,received the best treatment immediately ,if was in a small town, what can not be granted.
And the big city provide people lots of way to relax and entertained oneself in spare time, the people who live in big city has more chances to see the world famous performence, such as symphony from Austria, ballet dancing from British and music drama from the USA.
Admittedly, living in a small town has certain advantages. For example, the cost living in a small town os much lower than big city, the air is much more fresh, the environment is much more quiet, etc. however, living in big cities has more valuable merits as convenience transport, granteed medical, abundant entertainment and so on. I therefore prefer to live in a big city.

Where to live in is a hot issue now. More and more persons are plunging into big cities, however; many uptown people move to small town to enjoy peaceful life there. To me, I have to live in a big city now.

Obviously in China, life necessaries in high quality are more convenient to buy in a big city than that in a small town. China as a developing country, only its big city can provide us various products in high level. In a small town, the food-safety is still in low level. The problem products may sell in a small town and less power can control them than that in a big city.

And then, I can enjoy my work more if I live in a big city. As is know to all, there’re more opportunities in a big city than in a small town. I prefer to work in a big city such as Shanghai so that my career life may in bright way. Because of terrible traffic jams, live in a big city means I can have more time to sleep if I live in uptown.  And there more kinds of vehicles can be chosen in a big city, such as developed subway and public bus systems.

What’s more, there’re more operas and stadiums in a big city. Being a music fan, I can’t imagine the life without the concert. And now, famous oversea bands and orchestras only perform in big cities so I have to live in a big city now. Apparently, swimming pool and yoga house are also not available in a small town.

Nowadays, the small towns in China are in fast development while the big cities are try there best to promote its living environment .Many small town developing their industrial, trees and mountains are destroyed, grey smoke rising into the air. On the way to pursue fortunes, people in the small town are busy and work hard, ignoring the environment. Traffic up and down on the roads. Lacking good management experience, safety problem and incidents are rising up.

All in all, I have no choice  to live in a big city now.

I like the big city just like most people do. Living in the big city offers more opportunities ,Different jobs attract different people .people corperate together to contribute to the society . more chances exist in the big city .while little risk in the town.

In the big city people could enjoy life better , various of activities are held related to every field ,more concerts,more matches,more exhibitions .People also get better education in the big city,because of the better teaching resourse .when you walk in the big city, you could contact with different people from worldwide .so in the big city ,wo could know better about the world ,and show us to the world.

Sometimes big city expose its weakness,such as traffic , environment .As is known ,the terrible air polution often affects ours health.many people are sick just due to the poor living condition. Traffic jam makes everybody upset, wasting time can be forgived because time is more significant in the big city .

Compared with big city ,small town is quiet and relaxible .there is not so much pressures,which is more suitable for patient to recover. As a result ,many successful businessmen choose to enjoy their old ages here.

Everyone has his own opinion about where to live ,whether living in the big city or in a small town ,we just hold a faith that life is full of hope and happiness.

As for most people, the spending on house property is probable the largest investment in their whole life, deciding where to settle down becomes the most important issue while choosing a house or a flat. Many struggle between living in big cities and small towns, for either of them has advantages attracting people to spend their life there. From my point of view, I prefer living in big cities.

The fundamental reason for my choice is that life is much more colorful in big cities. We are living in a world with whole new things coming up everyday, thus there are plenty of information and knowledge for us to learn. Undoubtly, we can get all of them much easier in big cities. For instance, I am studying on the new campus of my university, which is settled in a town near a large city in which the main campus of my university is settled. Compared with the students on the main campus, our life is quite simple—taking classes and relaxing, for it is arduous for us to realize what is happening outside immediately in a small, peaceful and quiet town. On contrary, students in big cities are always up to date, as there are many ways for them to get the information. This is really a big advantage of living in big cities.

Secondly, the bustling atmosphere in big cities can inject our life with energy. People in small towns can easily feel slothful when life is too comfortable there. That will be a problem when people feel becoming old psychologically even though they are in their best ages actually. Yet, aged people in big cities can keep energetic when they see hopeful smiles on those pretty young faces, as human beings are easily influenced by the environment. Therefore, this energy can lead people to live a positive and valuable life in big cities.

Last but never the least, life in big cities is more convenient than in small towns. With lots of worldwide famous supermarket chains around you and mature traffic system, people can get everything they want and go everywhere they wish, which may seem impossible sometimes in small towns.

However, small towns are attractive for some people because of the fresh air and amazing sights there. For me, that will be quite inviting for traveling, but not for living. With the reasons mentioned above, I would like to live in big cities rather than small towns.

Living in a small town or a big city is a littile bit difficult for most people to choose .Both of them have many benefits and defects ..

For me I would like to choose living in a big city Living in a big city has many advantages. Firstly,much higher educations can be received by us ..Because I’m the university student, I need to learn the most advanced knowledge which alwanys be spreaded much faster in big cities than in small towns.Moreover I have the change to take part in the international exhibitions conveniently which can open my eyes extraordinary.Secondly,there’re more chance for us to face the society.Lives in big cities are more complex ,more flesh than in small towns so that when I’m graduate from school I would quickly join in the job..Last but not the least,living in big cities has a superior living standard to that in small towns .Public installations are more completed in big cities such as old people’s home ,kindergarten.

However many people wish to choose living in small towns .The environments there are better than in big cities. Air and water pollition is not as serious as that in big cities.People can breathe the fresh air ,see the blue sky .That is almost extravagance for the people who live in big cities..Aslo the public order and relations between people are more harmonious.They are well known each other so most of the time they would like to talk together and enjoy the happy atmosphere .In addition , the price of daily necessities is cheaper in small towns ,although the pay is less.

With the limitations of the city space and the development of the town,the differences between big cities and small towns are becoming smaller..It will be a more easier issue to discuss .

Some people prefer to live in a small town, while others prefer to live in a big one. In my point of view, it is more comfortable to live in a small town, though it might be more convenient to live in a big city. So I prefer to live in a small place other than a big one.

I have to admit that it could be more convenient to live in a big city. There are more working oppotunities in a big city, as well as more entertainment activies. Also, the transportation in a big city is really advanced, which does make convenience for people living there. But there are also many problems in big cities, such as noise, pollution, crowded peoples, and high cost of living expense. Another factor which could not be ignored is that people in big cities have to face higher pressure to live there than those in a small town do.

The reasons why I prefer to live in a small town could be as simple as possible. First, the environment is far better than it in a big city. Fresh air, clean water and quiet environment are really attractive to me. Second, the life is more easier in a small town. People don't have to spend hours on the roads from home to office, back and forth, which is really a waste of time in big cities compared to it in a small town. And moreover, there might be less chance to meet traffic jam, and it can save a lot time, which could make your life more efficient, no matter for work, or leisure life. The last reason but not the least important one, is that there is far lower crime rate in a small town. The people living in a small town is comparatively solid, and you might even know everybody in the town. You might have your neighbor take care of your home while you are away. But in a big city, you may even don't know who exactly is living next to you.

So generally speaking, I personally prefer to live in a small town, other than a big one. I believe life in a small town is of high quality, good health, low pressure for me.
