New scholarship for Chinese students

Dear XXX: I am pleased to inform you of a new scholarship for which you may qualify. The UC Global Scholarship is offered only to international students who wish to earn their bachelor's degree at the University of Cincinnati, one of the top research universities in the United States. All applications for admission will be screened for scholarship eligibility. The UC Global Scholarship awards up to $7,000 US per year and can be renewed for the duration of a bachelor's degree program (up to 12 academic quarters). Students who have taken the SAT test are particularly encouraged to apply. You may qualify for this scholarship with combined Critical Reading and Math scores of 1200 or higher, subject to qualifying English language test scores and other academic requirements. Students residing in China - and who have not been able to take the SAT - may take the University of Cincinnati Math Placement Test instead of the SAT to be considered for the UC Global Scholarship.
