"The human mind will always be superior to machines because machines are only tools of human minds."

I basically agree with the author that machines can the tools of human minds and they will never overpass the human.

What is the so-call machine? In my opinion, machine is one of well-designed tools which may be automatic in some extend and can release human from the burdensome and boresome physical labor. It has been so long since machines employed in our society; none of us can exactly find out when the first machine was invented. Be awarded or not, our daily lives have changed significantly by its existence from thousands year past to now. Nowadays just taking a look around us, we will find out what an important role machines play. In factory, the industry robots serve on the product lines, instead worker can comfortable sit in the control room monitoring the date feedback from the robot on the screen. In family, automatic housing machines as washer machines, microwave ovens and dishwashers facilitate the housework; instead house wives can leisurely sit in the sofa watching the TV series shows. In lab, the science instruments which may represent the top technology in our world ease the experiments; instead scientist can drink a cup of coffee and wait the test datasheet automatically printed on the desks. Even the designers, who used to work only with pen and paper can be enjoyed the convience by using the designing machines as computer aided design (CAD). Machines now appear in every field of our society, and make our lives more comfortable and convenient.

However, some people are afraid of machines and assert that robots may master human in some day. This claim appeals to be somehow reasonable. With the development artificial intelligent, many machines can think in its own appear and challenge human’s intelligent. The computer Deep-Blue developed by IBM beat the world champion of cheese, Garry Kasparov. A competition named “RoboCup” encourages the scientists to develop robots which can win the champion of World Cup in 2050. Moreover, many science fictions and films as “I Robot” describe the robots attack human and finally rule of us. These fear can be understood in some extend because intelligent machines developed so quick that before 10 years no one can believe the situation happen in now.

While, in my opinion, machines would never be a threat of human, since they are invented by human and employed as tools. Though some of the intelligent robots have their own independent thinking, the purpose to develop their own judgments is to service the human. Human will never and ever make out a kind of machines as evils to destroy the world on purpose, and now to avoid the fearsome situation, scientists now have really established some laws to machines. The Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics is one of them and widely accepted by public. This kind of law main release some fear of public to intelligent machines.
  
On the contrary, though the machines themselves would not threat our society, the manipulator of machines should be somehow discreet. The machines are tools, whatever they obtain high intelligence or not, they would not disobey the manipulators’ command. While the manipulators may use the formidable power to achieve their own purposes and take no consideration about society. For example, the intelligent persons invented machines not to service the world not to master other persons. In this situation, the more powerful machines they are, the heavier disaster human may suffer. Or though the machines are built by good will, but finally utilized by evils as Iran wish to make out their own A-bombs which now be considered as a threat of world peace. Considered such possibility, we have to not only improve the science and technology, but also take care our moral standard to ensure the machines may not be used to damage our world.

In sum, I basically agree the speaker, that the machines themselves have no damage at all. But machines utilized by the different persons with different purposes can treat our society.
