[i习作temp] Issue50 出差归来,状态果然没了——有拍必回 [复制链接]

题目:ISSUE50 - "In order to improve the quality of instruction at the college and university level, all faculty should be required to spend time working outside the academic world in professions relevant to the courses they teach."

The speaker claims that all teachers should spend time on working outside the academic world in professions relevant to the courses they teach. In my observation, I agree with the statement insofar as that those faculty who are responsible for some disciplines related to our daily lives should take part in outside working to some extent. Yet, when it comes to certain academics which purely study of  theory, such teachers have no benefit from working outside the academic world in professions.

Admittedly , as for those teachers who teach certain lessons related with our everyday lives, engaging in working outside the academic world serve to add the practical experience which have great effect on their improvement the quality of instruction. Though a series of outside workings, such teachers may understand knowledge of their lessons profoundly, their ability of dealing with practical problems are enhanced. When they return school from such working, they are able to teach their students by more vivid examples which are easily to be understood by the students. Take my computer teacher for example. Before he took part in an project from a famous company, he just teach certain knowledge from textbooks. Most of students were no interested in his lesson. However, when he successfully finished that project and came back, his lesson became interesting considerably, since he always took some example which he encountered during that time instead of limited traditional way from textbooks. In this case, computer teacher acquire much more practical knowledge and experience from outside project. He apply such new experience to his lesson and improve the quality of instruction. According, joining outside work have positive effection on rising the  quality of teaching , to teacher of certain disciplines.

However, the weakness of engage in such outside works for those teachers should not be ignored. After all, the main job of teacher is focus himself on instructing students. If he  spend too much time on those outside works, he would have no sufficient energy to teach  the students. Apparently, such result violate the basic object of this suggestion. An apt illustration of this point involves some discipline such as English. Many English teachers nowadays make some special lessons for themselves outside the college and university. Such lessons are spend their weekdays or even workdays after school. In such circumstance, those teachers pay more attention on such outside lessons rather than their students of college. As a result, their real ability of instruction have no improvement for such outside works. On all accounts, overemphasis on certain outside works is detrimental to quality of instruction.

Besides, when it comes to some discipline which stress on  the study of theory, spending time working outside the academic world is meaningless or even harmful. For such teacher, what is most effective way to rise the quality of instruction is to do much more  experiments in the laboratory. By means of countless experiments, such teachers may testify the problems of the textbooks and acquire many valuable data. When they teach their students something concerned such experiments, those student may learn well. Therefore, to improve their ability of instruction, such teachers should do much more experiments in the laboratory rather than work outside.

In sum, proper outside  working serve to enhance the quality of instruction of certain disciplines involved actual life, Overemphasis on such works do harms to their every works. As far as those teachers who engage in study of discipline of theory be concerned , doing much experiments is better than working outside the academic world

In my observation, I agree with the statement insofar as that those faculty who are responsible for some disciplines related to our daily lives(感觉用词不够acurate,一定要是日常生活相关的啊,只要是应用性学科感觉都成立) should take part in outside working(要强调是和本专业相关的) to some extent. Yet, when it comes to certain academics which purely study of  theory, such teachers (加个would吧,用虚拟语气感觉不会太绝对) have no benefit from working outside the academic world in professions.

(重复了前面的话.没有深入) According, joining outside work have positive effection on rising the  quality of teaching , to teacher of certain disciplines. (首先肯定框架没有问题,相当清楚.但是论证单薄而且单调.只是重复地在说一层意思)

If he spend(s) too much time on those outside works, he would have no sufficient energy to teach the students. (看法虽然很浅显甚至有点弱智,但是非常清楚,这个就是优势啊!) Apparently, such result violate the basic object of this suggestion. (这句话本身不错,不过最好放在充分的论证之后) An apt illustration of this point involves some discipline such as English. Many English teachers nowadays make some special lessons for themselves outside the college and university. Such lessons are spend their weekdays (病句...) or even workdays after school. In such circumstance, those teachers pay more attention on such outside lessons rather than their students of college. (例子不是非常典型,不过也可以接受了) As a result, their real ability of instruction have no improvement for such outside works. (直接抛出这个结论,不让人信服.例子中间要讲出为什么他们在外面上课没有提升他们的能力.更重要的是这个结论跟段落开头的ts不符.前面说的是时间太多的危害,这里确说到能力没有提高.论证最好要忠于ts) On all accounts, overemphasis on certain outside works is detrimental to quality of instruction.

(对于正确的方法讲的很不错,没有太多可以修改的明显失误.不过最好还是要再讲一讲为什么outside的工作会无用甚至有害,否则ts就没有被很好的照应)
