TOPIC: ARGUMENT2 - The following appeared in a letter sent by a committee of homeowners from the Deerhaven Acres to all homeowners in Deerhaven Acres.
"Seven years ago, homeowners in nearby Brookville community adopted a set of restrictions on how the community's yards should be landscaped and what colors the exteriors of homes should be painted. Since then, average property values have tripled in Brookville. In order to raise property values in Deerhaven Acres, we should adopt our own set of restrictions on landscaping and housepainting."

The arguer asserts that Deerhaven Acres (DA) should adopt a set of restrictions on landscaping and housepainting. To better support his conclusion, the author cited Brookville, which adopted the restrictions as an example seven years ago(这句有语法错误,the author cited B as an example, which has adopted the restrictions seven yearrs ago会通顺一点?). However, this argument is logical flawed in several critique(critical?) aspects.
To begin with, the arguer fails to establish the causation between the restrictions and the shape increase of average property values in Brookville. The fact that one happened after another does not make it sense to deduce the causation. It is entirely possible that the mainly reason of the tripled property values is not mainly because of the restrictions on landscaping and exteriors of homes. Perhaps amount of high prise buildings have been construted in the last seven years, which would make the average property values higher. Perhaps the demond of houses in Brookville has souring, and according to a common economic principle that demondings and supplies determine the prise, the property values would raise. Or perhaps the econmic development of Brookville in seven years has made a significant progress which bring on a higher prise of everything especially to property values of Brookville community. Therefore, the assetment the author argued would make no sense to anyone considering the situations above.(这段论述的没有问题,但是给我一个感觉,太简单的模板化了,小心雷同)
(第三段还是要有个标志词,使得文章结构显得看起来清晰一些,比如Next,)Even if the restrictions of landscaping and exteriors of home do dominately cause the rise of average property values, it is not certain to deduce that the situation what has happened in Brookville would necessarily take plce in DA. Since the dissimilarity between them, the result possiblely turns out to dispoitting the arguer. For example, buyers in DA may have a different peference of the exterior colors of homes, or they may like their houses being painted uniquely rather than in the same color. In addition, the property values may be less expensive in Brookville than that in DA, which means it will be less difficult for Brookville to raise its property values. If so, the dream of increasing the property values in DA would break down.
Finally, even assumpting that the two communities are essential the same, the arguer may also fail to demonstrate that the measures dopted seven years ago would be still efficient nowadays and in the future. As it it known to all that modern world is changing rapidly, during the seven years, there is no denying that people's thinking would have been changed evitably. For example, homeowners may feel dissatisfied when their houses are painted and their yards are landscaped in the same way of others do. If so, the restrictions would play a negtiverole on the matter of raising property values.
In conclusion, to make the arguement more convincing, the arguer has to provide more evidence saying surveyes, stastitics, or comparisons, to demonstrate the experience in another community seven years ago can be still available to DA.
这篇argument不难写,楼主这篇文章攻击点也很正确,语言展开得也很恰当,注意一下雷同的问题,使自己的语言显得丰富一些,加油。
