May 31

Every community knows hit a pothole slowing down to avoid others, can make driver a crying uncle.  But ants have a remarkable solution surrounding pothole problems. According to a research at University of Bristol, England, you can forget the shovel as other fault. As a vast colony of army, ants head back nest after raids. Some workers mark the trail plug tiny potholes with their own bodies. The ants stretch the pothole, creating a living bridge. If there is particularly a big hole, group of ants link up together to form a highway over the rough spot. Big ants carry prey using the smooth surface to reach maximum speed. Ants get back to the nest as soon as possible to feed hungry youngsters. After the valuable cargo had passed, the other ants climb out the pothole and head home too. Since an army array may contain 200 thousand individuals, the speedy repair service by ants who were willing to get step down, benefit the colony as a whole. Now, if searchers can only figure out why cab drivers also seem to seek out of the pothole only can hit them as hard as possible.

I am not certain about these red parts.
