提纲:
1、首先Brookville community 的平均资产价值在过去的几年里增长3倍的主要原因可能并不是Restrictions on landscaped and what colors the exteriors of homes,而是其它原因,例如,所处的地理位置合适,居民的整体素质较高(文明程度高),整体国民经济的发展,周边房地产价值的上涨带动等等。
2        Restrictions on landscaped and what colors the exteriors of homes Deerhaven Acres 不一定适用,推广普及可能很困难,因为社区居民的情况不同,他们可能倾向于个性化的装饰设计。
3        即使可以实施自己的restrictions, 前几年的情况和现在也是可能不一样的,不能够直接推出现在也还能像过去那样增值那么多。


正文:
The argument above presents a relatively sound case for arguing that if adopting their own set of restrictions on landscaping in house paintingthe property values of Deerhaven Acres will raise. However, by making a careful scrutiny of this argument, we will find it suffers from several fallacies and therefore unconvincing. At least, there are some crucial factors that should be taken into account before drawing the conclusion.

First of all, the chief reason contributing to the triple raising of the average property values of Brookville community might not their own restrictions on how the community’s yards should be landscape and what colors the exteriors of homes should be painted. No evidence is offered to support this assumption. To establish this relationship, other factors that could lead to this result must be considered and eliminated. For example, the great improvement of the community’s fundamental facilities, the more convenient traffic situations, the good fame of the community habitants’ friendliness and civility. It is highly possible that all of above mentioned have a significant influence on the determination of the property values.

Secondly, the arguer fails to take into account the inherent differences between the Brookville community and the Deerhaven Acres. Such as the dissimilarities of geographic places, the chief functions and the characteristics of each community’s habitants and so on. What are the general attitudes of the residents towards the restrictions on landscaping in house painting in Deerhaven Acres? Will they are completely identical to the Brookville community’s? It is entirely possible that the residents in Deerhaven Acres prefer to the individual designs of landscaping and painting. Obviously, adopting a sudden measure may bring about the general potential objections. Therefore, a more specific investigation about the attitudes of residents must be needed, and it is quite necessary to consider the advices of different habitants in order to make the restrictions more successful.

Finally, even though the restrictions can be successfully put into practice in Deerhaven Acres without encountering the general objections of residents, it is still possible that the property values of Deerhaven Acres will not increase or even decline. The arguer obviously neglect that whether the background conditions have remained the same or not during the seven years. The evidence of seven years ago has little worthiness for nowadays construction. It is possible that many factors such as general state economic situation, both the supply and demand of housing, as well as the conceptions of consumers have gradually changed over this time span. Therefore, without considering and eliminating these possible factors, the arguer cannot confidently draw such a firm conclusion.

In summary, this argument has several apparent fallacies which render it logically unpersuasive as it stands. To strengthen the argument, the arguer would need to provide clear evidence that the possibility of putting the restrictions into practice at least. And especially the further analysis about the direct causal relationship between the restrictions and the increase of property values are necessary.
