The speaker asserts that the tourism will be disappeared along with the development of the television and worldwide computer connections. I agree that the television and internet could show much more pictures and information about the interested place. However, this would not be the reason which would decrease the interesting from the tourist in exploiting the places by their selves.

I agree with speaker insofar as one advantage of television and internet is to provide much information about places, so the people can not become very familiar with those places where they have never been. Moreover, pictures about those places from television are always selected and very beautiful. For instance, even a tourist visit Yellow mountain ten times--the most famous mountain in China, he or she might not have a chance to see the famous scene--cloud sea--in Yellow mountain. However, we just switch on the television or surfing on the Yellow Mountain website, we can see the wonderful pictures and video tape about all the famous landscape from these places.

However, are these pictures and video tapes could vanish your desire for visit these beautiful places by yourself? Certainly not. Everyone know that this is a totally different feeling between seeing a picture about the mountain and touching this mountain by your finger, so the more and more information provided by the television and internet could be the stimulus for the tourist. We already have sufficient evidence about this: televisions and internet already be there for half centuries, the tourism industry keep rise along with the developing of television and internet. After the well-know channel, such as Discovery and National Geography, broadcast in USA, more and more people have a strong desire to visit those places showed in channels. Such remote places as African already attract thousands tourist each year in our country, since they know the interested animals and various national parks other than only desert, only scene about Africa before the tourism channel appeared.

Moreover, the information gained from television and internet is limited because the majority programs in television and internet are profit-aim. Based on this, we could not hope that every aspect of places would be seen from these programs. For example, the people lived in the Iran and Kuwait has no chance to see pictures about the historical and cultural places in Iraq, due to the conflict in the religion and territory. Although we could get some information from our web mate directly, we still could not treat this information as the true portraiture, because we know the view from various people is often different. Not every one think the Great Wall in CHINA and Pyramids in Egypt is both belong to the world most famous seven miracles.

In sum, the television and internet would bring many information about the places, so tourist is not necessary go everywhere they want to just take a picture anymore. However, this information will be a impetus what cause more and more people be attracted by those beautiful and interested things. Moreover, the pictures could not be the substitute for the real feeling when tourist stands in the true scene.
